*clears throat* Ahem.
Homecoming started out pretty boring. I danced (if me wiggling around can be called that...) around a bit, said hi to my friends, and just....hung around. Well, I saw this one boy that I've had a crush on for over a year and got all excited. I got my hopes up and ran over to ask him to dance. It went a bit like this:
Slim: Hey, Matt!
Matt: Hey, Slim!
Slim: So.....do you wanna dance?
Matt: Errr....(insert awkward silence)......I don't really want to dance right now.
So I got my hopes up again and thought "maybe he really does wanna dance later!" So I danced around all happy and smiley. After a while, I realized he wasn't going to ask me to dance.....So I bit my lip and got over it. After a while, Matt's buddy came up to me and said, "Are you Slim? Matt's looking for you." I waited for a minute, repeatedly saying, "Really?!" So I went to go look for Matt...........and asked him if he wanted to dance yet. Matt said the same thing he did previously. So basically, Matt's friend set me up for humiliation and got a few weak chuckles out of it.....So I shake my head and tell myself it's not Matt's fault, it's his buddy's fault. Then my pal Bronte comes up to me. Me and Bronte both started liking Boy at the same time.

Then my pal Bronte comes up to me. Me and Bronte both started liking Matt around the same time. She's always been a good friend to me. She's nice, funny, smart, athletic, she was as close to perfect as I thought ANYONE could get. She was just so damn nice! Well, Bronte went up to me and asked me if I still liked Matt. I said yes. So Bronte asks if I want her to hook me up with Matt. I said yes and thanked her a whole bunch of times, my hope once again rising. So I watched Bronte go over to Matt, talk to him a little bit-
And then start grinding on him.
It took me a few minutes to register what I was seeing, being that Bronte was such a good person, not to mention the fact that she's Mormen and isn't even allowed to DATE boys.....let alone grind on them. So I was pretty disgusted/hurt....
At this point, I was getting pretty wolf-ish......I was grinding and slightly baring my teeth, my spind was rigid, and my eyes were dangerously narrowed...At first I was mad because I didn't dance with Matt, NOW I'm just mad because of what a fool I was, believing Matt's stupid buddy and hoping for a chance to dance with him, despite the fact that he repeatedly gave me hints that said "no".

Well now, that guys was a complete jackass...and unless people that you know actually call you Slim, well, that's news to me ^_^Miss Erica Anyway, the whole "awkward silence" is a guy's way of saying that he can't dance actually...unless you're me, whereas I flat out announce that I can't and won't dance, even if everyone there contributes $10-$20...Anyway...what I'm trying to get at is, you're quite courageous to go up to someone you like and offer your hand in a dance, most guys tend to have jackass friends (it's a kind of...way to make them look better or something like that) and believe it or not, most guys are quite shy around laides, women, girls..whatever you wanna call yourself...regardless, that answer is complete bullshit and you desevered an honest response at least...and on another note, if I had been there, his friend would then be in the hospital for doing something so low...ok..I think I'm done now

He didn't actually call me Slim. I just like referring to myself as Slim while I'm in the ATG. sweatdrop (I assume multiple identities, like BATMAN! lol...) Oh, he knew how to dance alright. *narrows eyes and bares fangs* He danced pretty damn good with Bronte... Thanks for calling me courageous, though. |

Arcanas ok, I'm not done yet...now, regarding your "pal" what she did was quite un-pal like in my opinion, but you also have to rememeber, that simply because a person is a religion, doesn't mean they tend to follow all the rules...especially considering the fact that teenagers are mostly hormonal thinking entities...now, I have a question that you're mostlikely going to answer with your next post, but I'll give a shot anyway...did it, or did it come close to any sort of scrap?
Oh, I was referring to her religion because apparently it's not "proper" to date until a certain age....or something like that.

I'm angry at Bronte, but (as silly as this sounds) I don't want to......jump to conclusions. If you knew how.....perfect-like.........Bronte is, you'd definately understand how hard this is for me to comprehend. stressed |
