"Yes. This sort of behavior is not acceptable." Jian sighed, scrolling through the tablet to look at the media's sudden responses to Damien's message.

Damien walked into the room and then took a seat, waiting for the other staff to arrive. He folded his white gloved hands together and placed them on the table in front of him.

Jian took a seat as well, folding his arms and waiting patiently for them to come in. One by one, they all began to file into the room, each saying absolutely nothing as they did.

Damien drummed his fingers on the table. After a short moment that probably felt like an eternity to those who walked in, Damien finally spoke up. "So..." he began, "anyone have an explanation? We're all ears."

"Well sir, we received a report two days ago that your helicopter had been missing. We sent out a search party. We found out you were at Mt. Angelo, but we also found messages all over the underworld about a mass assassination there. We never knew you were going, and by the time we found out, all communication had been blocked. Even the land lines weren't making it through. Then the minister of international affairs reported that you were assassinated with that group. He said it was the only thing we were able to receive from Mt. Angelo."
"We weren't going to publish anything until we knew for sure, but someone must have tapped our system and there was a huge media leak." Another replied.
"Why hadn't it been contained until it had been official?" Jian demanded.
Those not in charge of the media turned to those who were. Many of the ones in charged looked at each other uncomfortably, not quite knowing how to reply.

"I'm not known for my patience. Are you going to talk, or do I have to get Ms. Ravenstone to make you?" Damien asked, getting really angry on the inside but staying relatively calm on the outside...for now.

((Awright. Let's continue this muthafukkah.))
Those in charge of media distribution didn't know what to say. There actually had been a takeover planned in the works, but they didn't want to spill the beans, just in case the takeover happened. They tried to cover their tracks the best they could. They hoped the Absolute Leader wouldn't figure it out.
"We-well..." one began, desperately trying to figure something out on the spot.

The media organisers tried as much as they could to weasel around the thought of a coup d'etat. Being in charge of what was allowed to be broadcast and distributed, they were good at spinning things a certain way. They began giving reasons for it, hoping the Absolute Leader and Chief General would buy it and the coup d'etat might still be able to take place.

Jian raised a brow, not liking their continual excuses. "You keep talking, but I see no one taking responsibility. Absolute Leader, what do you think?" He asked, knowing fully well where his place was. Whatever would happen would be Damien's decision.
