As Daemon woke up, he patted around the space where Larai had been before finally taking the cue that he should probably get up soon. Swinging his legs over the side of the bed and get up to go check on Milly.

Milly had been awake for awhile, and was just quietly laying there, gazing up at the ceiling and wondering where they were exactly. Upon seeing that Daemon was awake she asked, "Daddy? Where are we?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"It's home, sweetie." Daemon said with a smile as he sat on the edge of her bed. "Larai used to have this cave as her hideout as a kid, I just helped her turn it into a proper home."

 

[M3Gnificent]

Milly sat herself up, a puzzled look on her face. "Why are there so many shining crystals here?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"That's just the way the cave formed. Beautiful, aren't they?" he said looking up at the sparkling ceiling.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Milly smiled. "Mhmm~" After a few moments of gazing up at them she then asked, "Are they magical?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"No, I don't think so...." Daemon started to say before stopping himself. "No, wait. They are magical." he said with a smile, gently pulling Milly onto his lap. "They help keep you from having bad dreams at night." he lied, not wanting to break her little heart so soon.

 

[M3Gnificent]

{Sorry for taking so long to post. I've been getting ready to go and I'm about to head out to see the movie. I'll make sure to sneak on every little bit, but..yeah. XD}

Milly looked puzzled. "Really?" she asked, her eyes beginning to sparkle. Of course she knew he was lying, but it still felt nice to know that he was considering her feelings in all this.

((Have fun, and please don't risk getting in trouble for my sake. xD ))

"Yep. And they also double as night lights." Daemon said with a smile.

{I was thinking in the lobby before and after the movie. XD}

Milly giggled. "Yup! They really do!" She then hugged Daemon afterwards, if only because she could.

((Oh. Then yes, check in to your heart's content. XD ))

Daemon hugged Milly in return. "I think Larai's finding you a chamber of your own right now. Care to have a say in your portion of the cave?"

"Mmhmm. Take me there! ...Please?"

"Alright, let's hope we don't get lost on the way." Daemon joked with a chuckle as he picked her up and carrying her on his shoulders as he headed into the caves.

Milly giggled. "We won't." she replied, knowing very well that they could use the shadows to guide them.
