There was something fishy going on. Damien didn't like it. The propaganda department seemed agitated. There was something they weren't telling him. "I don't know, Chief General. They seem awfully antsy. Are you sure this is all the information you have?" he asked.

"Yes sir." One stated.
"Hmm... If they don't have any more information, perhaps an inspection is in order." Jian suggested with a nod.

Damien nodded. "Yes, and we should do it ourselves to make sure we're caught up on everything" he said. He then turned his head to the propaganda team as he stood up. "I assume then that we won't discover anything that you haven't told us, right?" he asked.

"I agree." Jian nodded.
"But sir, the propaganda department is in such a mess due to your disappearance." One cut in.
"Standard regulations are expected to be upheld, especially in emergency situations." Jian replied. "If you can't even manage that much, you should reconsider your line of work."

"I don't know, Chief General. We might need to replace the members of our media control department. These guys don't seem to be doing their jobs. Our machine can't run smoothly if some gears are rusty" the Absolute Leader stated.

"Indeed. If we don't change out the parts now, the whole thing might break down, and that would be very bad, wouldn't it?" Jian replied with a nod.

"Indeed" Damien nodded. He then turned to the heads of the media department. "Well, we're going to inspect what is going on, then we will return to figure out what to do with you. Until then you are prohibited from leaving the building. If you attempt to do so, you will be arrested on sight" he told them.

"Shall we be going now, or are there other things we should see to first?" Jian asked him.

"I think we should be going for now. We should be done here" Damien said, "...unless they have anything else to add". He looked at the staff again. "Do you?"

'So stubborn.' Jian thought, then opened the door for Damien, waiting for him to take the lead.

Damien exited the room and walked along with the Chief General. "They're hiding something. I can feel it. We're going to get to the bottom of this. There's a conspiracy and I don't like it" the Absolute Leader said as he walked along.

Damien headed into the wing where the media control centre was. "You think we may find a clue in here?" he asked Jian as they went along.

Damien nodded and then entered the office. He began looking around for any hints of treachery. It was likely that any files giving anything away were hidden or destroyed when Damien and Jian returned, but maybe somebody missed something. "You find anything?" Damien asked while searching.
