"I suppose, though I'd think it would take away the surprise if you knew what you were getting." Daemon said, removing his hand from hers for a moment to lovingly muss up her hair a bit.

"Okay, okay." Milly said with a small frown, pouting when Daemon ruffled her hair. Of course, she didn't hate it in the least. It was this sort of fatherly affection that she loved, that she craved.

"Let's see, what else do we need....?" Daemon mused aloud, trying to run through the mental checklist of necessities now that they suddenly had a child to take care of.

{Sorry for logging off early yesterday. It was a...highly stressful day to say the least.}

They eventually found themselves back at the cave after all that shopping. While Daemon and Milly payed her no attention, Larai had snuck away without their notice to buy herself new clothes - new lingerie, in particular, should Milly try and make him forget her altogether. Thankfully, she had remained unnoticed, and her new purchases were safely hidden away for the moment.

"And that should do it." Daemon said dusting off his hands after finishing his task of moving furniture around Milly's room to her liking, and packing her toy chest full to the brim.

Milly sat atop her new bed once it was set up, watching Daemon arrange her room for her. Once she was finished she ran over and hugged him tight. "Thank you so much for today."

"Well what kind of father would I be if I had you sleeping on the cold, hard cave floor?" Daemon said kneeling down to return the hug. "Anything else you need right now?"

"I don't need anything else for now. Thank you, though." Larai replied with a small smile.

"If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask." Daemon said giving her a kiss on the head before getting up to return to Larai. He didn't realize until just how exhausting a full day of shopping with a little kid could really be until just now.

Larai was laying back in her bed, wearing one new lingerie piece she had recently purchased. It was hidden by the blanket above her as she layed on her back and gazed up at the ceiling.

"Hopefully that's the last bit of shopping we have to do for some time." Daemon said with a tired sigh as he sat down on the bed beside her.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'm sure it is. We bought almost a fortune's worth, after all." Larai replied in a joking manner, smiling up at Daemon.

"Now why were you so quiet today? It's really not like you." Daemon said after changing into something more comfortable and cuddled up next to Larai, one arm lovingly draped around her waist.
