I want to pick up my game as well, but I don't have it! Oh, have either of you ever heard of Alice Ever Falling? I'm trying to decide if it's worth buying.

Kind of. It's like a spoof. You know how The Looking Glass Wars is like a different take on the story? Well this is about a girl who loves the Wonderland books so much that she dreesses as Alice daily. THen things take a turn for the worse and she finds herself targeted by a groun known to her only as the Wonderlandians or something like that.

I saw a book the other day that has the real Alyce telling her story to Lewis Carroll, but he gets the story wrong. Someone recognises the truth behind it, though, and... I can't remember the name of it, though. EDIT: It is, obviously, a novel, much the same as, say, Wicked was.

Aretoo, the book you're talking about is in fact Looking Glass Wars. What happens is that her name is not Alice, but Alyss. She is the true heir to the Wonderland throne, but is forced to flee through the pool of tears because of an attack against the palace by Redd. finding herself in London, she befriends Lewis Caroll, but he twists the story and publishes it as the Wonderland books we all know. However, the truth is that it is no fairy tale at all. It's a story of war, betrayal, love, and the never-ending war for Imagination.
Just so you know..... I haven't read Looking Glass Wars....I just know all this stuff. There's a site for Looking glass Wars, and a site for Alice Ever falling.

@Celes: Kewl! ^_^ I read the jacket and was intrigued, but couldn't remember the name. (And I seem to remember a comic series that was named something similar, so was confusing them) confused ^_^
@Sanzo: All sorts of slashy possibilities there (as if there wasn't enough with Riku. Hmmm... Riku gets jealous....) heheheheeh
