"I'm wondering if it has to do with those planning the assassination of the Grand Priestess. I don't know why, but I have a feeling. I'm not sure what good it would do them, though" Damien said.

Damien nodded. He then fired off another message to Shadow. 'Should we have another meetup to discuss what is going on?' was the message.

Jian waited patiently, wondering what she had to say.
Monica said nothing, folding her arms and looking away. She wasn't too happy about the situation.

We could meet at our usual spot, in the restaurant. Unless you have a better idea for a place. he said. Damien then looked over at Jian. "Oh, by the way. How's the situation with our little band of treacherous swine?" he asked.

'Not really, unless you want to want to avoid the crowd and drop by my apartment.' She replied in a text.
"They've been properly disposed of." Jian replied. "I know you'd be a little said to miss it, so it's been recorded."

"Ah, I see. Well, I was planning on having a public execution, just to show what happens when you try to disrupt proper rule" Damien said, "but I suppose it'll do." He then replied to Shadow. I guess your place would be better. Less people to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"Well, hopefully we won't need to demonstrate such power again." Jian told him. "But seeing as how our luck has been with these groups, I'm sure you'll get another chance."

"It's up in my office." Jian replied. "You want to see it now?" He asked, surprised he would want to when he just got back.

"Sure. I've got a meeting with Shadow in a little bit, so I'll have to get ready for that. Might as well have a little enjoyment first" Damien said, sounding delighted to be seeing his enemies get killed.

"Alright then." He replied. "I'll go grab it so we can watch it down here." Jian replied, leaving to fetch the DVD. A moment later, he returned with the disk and handed it to the bartender to be put in the large television on the far wall. A moment later, the disk began to play their gruesome deaths.

Damien watched, satisfied. "So, did you decide the manner of execution, or did you just decide to go with the normal protocol?" he asked the Chief General.

"They died before we could go with standard protocol. They were a bit too weak to withstand their punishment." Jian replied, trying to hide the fact that it made him feel a bit sick.
