I was making jerky and meat pie for hubby all day. sweatdrop Not my fave, but I do spoil him. xd Gimme ramen any day. blaugh

It's a French-Canadian dish called Cipaille. You take a billion different types of meat and mix 'em together with some herbs, salt and pepper and then layer it all between pastry with a gravy mix. Hubby likes it, so I make it about once a year for him. His mom gave me her recipe for it yesterday so I could make it just for him. rolleyes LOL! It's pretty good though. It's not mince meat pie coz that is icky. It's just like a meat and gravy pie, I guess. blaugh Easy to make, but really meaty.

When I was a kid, one of my uncles tricked me into eating head cheese. He didn't tell me until AFTER I ate it that it was calf's brains. crying sweatdrop
