The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera looked around the cottage, noting it in her mind. Seeign the bed, she realized just how young the child must have been. She picked up the small blanket from the bed. "Has this been washed recently?" She asked the couple. "And we'll need to see the spot where you last saw her." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"No it hasn't." The male spoke up, "Around back." He led the way to the back yard, surrounded on two sides by the corn field.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Good." Aleera murmured as if to herself. Seeing the backyard, she propped her hands on her hips, examining it. "Should be okay. Here, Akila hold this." She handed the blanket to the girl. "I'll be back with the hound. We'll take care of this." She told the couple reassuringly before trotting off as if going into town. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"It's a good hound...she can find anything..." Akila nodded, after taking the blanket. The woman nodded, "oh thank you!"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Once she was sure she was out of sight, Aleera shifted. She circled around, coming out of the corn fields to greet Akila. The hound she'd chosen was similar looking to a cocker spaniel hound, though her fur was black and she was a little taller. She whuffed softly to get Akila's attention. Already, she was taking in all the scent around her. She hadn't been a dog in so long. She'd almost forgotten how amazing it was to be able to smell practically everything. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Oh, hey girl." Akila out on an act, bending over to pet the Dog, "Aleera must have gotten held up at something...but here's the hound." Sje motioned to the dog. "Just please find our baby." The woman sniffled.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera wagged her tail, panting happily at the petting. She raised one paw, pawing at the blanket. She wanted to get a good sniff of what she was looking for. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila held the blanket down for her to sniff, before stepping back, and letting Aleera sniff around a bit. The couple held eachother off to the left.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera sniffed at the blanket for a moment, then sneezed. She had her scent. Nose to the ground, she began searching, moving in a back and forth pattern. Finally, she was sure she had it. Giving a quick, sharp bark, she took off into the corn fields at a trot, following the scent. The tiger that should be....isn't....

((I have no plan for the girl so you can do whatever you want with that))
The couple ran after the dog, with Akila at their heels.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Mokay. Free reign to have fun!))
Aleera began growling softly, realizing there was more than one scent following the exact path of the child's scent. She didn't think it was coincidence as there wasn't an actual path here. When they reached a small dusty road, she paused. She whined, sniffing around the road. This wasn't right. The girl's scent just disappeared. Probably a wagon or something, Aleera decided. She continued searching for a moment before deciding to follow the other two scents. She had a hunch about them. She took off at a trot again. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila ran ahead, closer to Aleera. How could such a small girl have gone so far?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Feel free to add in anything you want as I work along this.))
Aleera glanced back at Akila, then at the couple. Deciding they were far enough back, she gave a low woof - One that sounded suspiciously like 'wagon'. She turned back, trotting along the trail. When it left the main path, she paused, looking down the tiny wagon trail with a cocked head. She wasn't liking where this was going. It was starting to look suspiciously like a slave ring to her. While slaves were perfectly acceptable by law, Akila was one after all, selling children as slaves without the parents permission was illegal. Walking slowly, she headed up the path. Soon, a small one story building became visible ahead of them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Marla trembled as she moved where the people told her. Her wrists were tied firmly in rope, and her feet were bare. Her soft dress was yellow as corn, and frilly, but torn in some places. The girl couldn't be older than 6.
Akila nodded just barely, and she slowed down to a walk in order to get to the house, "Here?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera whuffed softly, not wanting to alert the men she could hear inside. She took a pointer's stance, one paw off the ground and nose pointed firmly at the house. She was sure the girl was in there. Releasing the pointer's stance, she paced back and forth in front of Akila, making the girl walk slowly. She didn't like what was waiting ahead of them. To just rush in there would be folly. The tiger that should be....isn't....
