"In the off chance that you need it, I'll always come for you too. If it's me getting in trouble, though, I'll be sure to find plenty of ways to thank you for your efforts." Larai replied affectionately, ignoring the pain in her arm for the moment being.

"Now are you alright? They didn't hurt you too much before I got here I hope." Daemon said, trying not to sound more worried than he had to.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'm fine. That first guard that talked bruised my arm up, though. Hurts like bloody hell..." Larai said, frowning slightly as she revealed the bruisemarks on her arm.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Daemon frowned before gently taking her arm and kissing the bruised area. "I don't have your fantastic healing powers, so this is really all I can do."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"It's fine. I'll work on healing it once we get home. Mmkay?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Daemon's smile returned slightly. "So was it worth it? I hope you managed to at least swipe something good for your troubles."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Yup!" Larai grinned wickedly as she bragged, "I stole some rather juicy royal doccuments, detailing certain secret exploits that only two poloticians might want to know. In other words, something that will make one hell of a coin in the black market~"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Ohoho...Or perhaps letting it slip out to other government officials and watch the chaos unfold." Daemon said with a devious gleam to his eyes.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Did I mention I love the way you think?" Larai asked, quite proud of Daemon for having the thought.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm a demon, did you expect anything less?" Daemon said with a devilish smile.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Nope. I expect you to be the magnificent b*****d I fell in love with, through and through." Larai replied, offering him one more kiss afterwards.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Oo, careful what you wish for. You might just get it." Daemon said once their lips parted. "Besides, the magnificent b*****d was technically the old me."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You're magnificent and you get things done, regardless of your alignment." Larai replied, gently resting her forhead against his for the moment. "You're so sweet and caring towards me, yet still strong and intelligent enough to get things done without letting me become too much of a hindrance. Isn't that magnificent? Well, to me it is, and that's what I love best about you."

"Then where pray tell does the b*****d come in? They aren't usually known for being so sweet and likable." Daemon said with a small chuckle in spite of himself.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Insult backfire, really. People use it so frequently these days it doesn't really ammount to much of anything, so it can be disregarded." Larai replied easilly with a small shrug. "I simply added it in so it'd sound flashier. Guess I'd failed with that."
