Suddenly, an announcement came over the place that a patriotic moment was about to happen, so everyone had to stop what they were doing and stand attentively. The national anthem then began playing.

Shadow was confused for a moment before suddenly remembering what was going on. She took a deep breath, trying not to show her irritation as she stood attentively.

Damien stood attentively, though his stomach was growling. However, his ego and national pride helped him through.
A few different songs were played after the national anthem. They all had to do with the Absolute Leader, with Diethelm being the greatest country in the world and smashing down anyone who would try to oppose it, and even a couple about the Chief General.

Shadow started to grow bored when finally the patriotic moment ended. She tried not to act too revealed when she turned to Damien. "I almost forgot about that. I guess I've been in Mt. Angelo for too long." She told him. "Food?"

Damien sighed when the moment was over. Maybe he should make them longer. They never quite felt long enough for him. He turned to Shadow. "Huh? Oh, yes" he said, then looked around. "I think I smell something cooking in that direction" he said and pointed.

Shadow sniffed the air. "Yeah, smells good. I never knew you had a strong sense of smell." She chuckled.

Damien shrugged. "I think there's a small breeze" he replied while heading in the direction of the food.

"Actually I haven't eaten between going to Mt. Angelo to get my fellow Diethelmians to now, so it's been a while" Damien said to Shadow.

"That long? Really? Even I slipped myself a little snack on board." She replied surprised. "Well, lets get you something to eat!" She said, taking his hand and whisking him in the direction he was smelling food.

Damien laughed as Shadow dragged him along. "I wasn't aware that you were so concerned" he said with a chuckle.

"Oh shut up!" She flushed. "Just take my concern and be happy with it!" She replied as they stumbled across the food booths and restaurants. "Ok, what looks good, Mr. Hungry?"

Damien looked around. "Hmm, everything looks nice, though probably not too healthy. I guess I could probably go for some pizza" Damien said.

"Yeah, you're probably right about that. Pizza huh..." Shadow replied, looking around. "That place looks like they're selling some." She suggested.

Damien nodded and walked over. He got a couple slices, as well as some pop. He then did the ritual of bowing to the picture of the Absolute Leader that was on the wall of the food stand and thanking him for the food, even though Damien was technically thanking himself. He had no problem with that though. Just another ego stroke. All the stands had a picture of the Absolute Leader to bow to. In fact, Damien's image was all over the fun park, and he had to make himself not admire all of them, or he and Shadow wouldn't have gotten anywhere.
