Please explain this "if you understand BBcode" thing. I know some stuff on BBcode, but are you talking about some cheat? I guess I just misunderstood you...

I'm particularly interested in one certain book in the Nag Hammadi Library, however. It is called The Sophia of Jesus Christ.
The reason for my interests is that some sects of Gnosticism have believed that Sophia Pistis and Jesus of Nazareth were the lowest Aeons - divine beings. Meaning, they were the closest to the material plane.
Edit: However, some translations of many books have changed the greek word Sophia (feminine) and have masculinized it into Wisdom (of course, Sophia is a feminine word for Wisdom). It would be interesting to find where exactly the feminine word for Wisdom was used in ancient texts before it all became translated into Wisdom. Then again, I could just be crazy.
Although I'm taking my studies with a grain of salt, ancient texts such as these sound like interesting and discussion-provoking reads.
Edit 2: Some Theologians have even stated that Sophia/Wisdom was with the Christian God in the beginning - thus potentially creating a new meaning for the line in Genesis "in our image." (Although our usually refers to, I believe, the choir of God's angels) But... once again, take with salt.

Grand_Arbiter Please explain this "if you understand BBcode" thing. I know some stuff on BBcode, but are you talking about some cheat? I guess I just misunderstood you... When you go to the website for the sprites, you can choose up to two pokemon, a trainer (if you like) a level for each pokemon, and a statement. It then generates a signature code. All I did was edited the signature code so that there was no link, to make the statement what it is now. And Saverio's statement wasn't out of nowhere, it was in response to the affirmation that the pocket monsters could only be up to 99. -Tsuji

Do not worry... I'm still studying and do not understand it fully either. My main interest is to see how the message would change if Sophia/Wisdom was actually a divine being like God who was with God in the beginning.

Nothing is entirely random, Sav, all effects are precipitated by a cause. In turn, all causes are also effects... -Tsuji

Mhm... yeah... a male and female presence... of course my studies are probably considered heretical since they don't fit in with the cycle of Catholic canon and tradition.
But still... it's an interesting and hopefully discussion-provoking topic to discuss in my theology class or with my peers and professors whenever I have time to have coffee with them.

I know where you're going with that. xd
But... as a small (and I mean small) counterargument to that argument... although Genesis is a mythological genre... Male was created first in Genesis "in our image" then female was created. (When considering the second creation story - the garden of eden - compared with the first story - "let there be light").
Furthermore, medieval theologians have stated that although there is the physical male and female bodies... the souls have always been considered feminine.
But I might just be crazy and being weird... sweatdrop
