"Thank you. But it doesn't feel the same if I have someone else steal something for me. It's about the rush and excitement it offers, not so much the value of the object itself." Larai said with a soft sigh, gently leaning her forhead against his. "I will try to resist, though, as best as I can at least."

"I'm sorry..." Daemon sighed as he wrapped his arms around her in a hug. "If there was a way for you to feel that rush without putting yourself in harm's way, I'd gladly do it. The baby hasn't even started to show yet, so you're alright for now, but again, in the later months....If there's any way for me to make it up to you...."

"I'll think of something in the later months, don't worry." Larai assured Daemon, smiling slightly at him for the moment.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Are you sure you're really okay with this? I don't blame you if you want to leave on some grand heist once the baby's born." Daemon said lowering his eyes slightly. "I can take care of Milly and the baby, and I'd hate for your skills to get rusty..." he offered.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"No." Larai said sternly and seriously, frowning now. "I will not leave you to take care of our baby all on your own. I'll find a way to practice my skills and to get my satisfaction, or I will wait until an appropriate time. I won't screw you and everyone else over just to satisfy my selfish desires."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Daemon was taken aback at how serious she had gotten. "Alright, alright; I just want to make sure you're happy is all." he said placing his head next to hers and nuzzling her slightly.

Larai snuggled close to Daemon, smiling slightly. "I know, and I appreciate it. I just refuse to back out of something like this just because I have sticky fingers."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm glad. Just means that many more nights for us to cuddle together." Daemon said with a smile as he kissed her cheek.

"Exactly!" Larai then returned the favor, and offered him a kiss on the cheek as well.

And why am I suddenly imagining the slaughter fodder army barging in out of nowhere and ruining the moment?))

{Hm..that'd be nice and all, but these are Larai's caves. Unless they payed real close attention through the confusing tunnels, it'd be highly improbable. D: So...they could have another lovey-dovey moment just outside and get assaulted there?}
