I did an eight week course, and alraedy knew a few words. When I say eight weeks it waws 2 hours a wek for eight weeks. So I sorta know Survivalist Japanese. Very basic stuff. But I have CD-Rom which is supposed to teach you some. ONly just sorta looking at it for the first time.

Well I told her she was cute when she came to take our order, ( I was a little drunk at the time) so I figured I should follow up on it. What I said after was more just ordering drinks and stuff in Japanese and when she specially made me a drink (ie she made it instead of the bartender) she sorta hung around the table a bit so I loudly complimented that it was tasty in Japanese and then she sorta did that giggle smile thing and hurried off. biggrin Japanese girls are so cute blaugh
