HOLY CRIPES! The DS can do that?! eek
Crud, I gotta hide my DS before people talk to me and start weirding me out! EEK!
Wait...I think I'm safe, I think you need a special cartridge or something for that. So I think I am ok...for now. I may still need to get it so I can talk with Ladi and my niece when I move across the country...but until then I am safe.
So happy about the updates! Whoot for comic goodness! biggrin

The DS has a built in microphone, you just need a game with voice chat capabilities.

Do you have to set up a DS to communcate and trade with others. Becuase I was never sure.

Remind me to steal Mike's DS the next time I see him... last time I saw that thing it was in the glove compartment of his dad's truck, and I'm pretty sure I've used it more than he has in the past year.

What games allow chatting? Dear gods, what kind of range does my DS have? I'm suddenly very afraid of it, lol. Gods only know who could find me. I'm gonna have to hide when I play my DS. ninja

I know Pokemon allows peeps to chat with others. You need to have wireless internet, and depending if you have passwords or what, you just put 'em in yer DS. Wi-Fi hotspots don't go through that hassle I think, but you still need to do a little set up.
I'm pretty sure it varies with the game, but yeah. The Internet has quite a bit of information on this topic.
Your DS can be a Web Browser too I think. I want more local peeps so I can do stuff with my Pictochat. biggrin

Wireless internet I have...along with the password from hell! Maybe some day I'll give it a try. Pictochat is fun to doodle in. It might be cool to chat in too.
Damn it...and I thought I wasn't going to get the most recent pokemon game...sheesh.

...All the more reason I want a DS for christmas...I'm telling my mom I must have one! >D If not...then maybe I'll buy a used one with my saved money. ^^;

Lol...I set it all up...then realized I don't know anyone else with a DS to chat with! D'oh!
But now when my friends have DS's I can chat with them, even when I move to the west coast. They just have to get the DS's, lol. Cheaper than the phone and more portable than my computer...how handy!

My roommate has a Gamecube as well. Can't remember what she plays on it though...
Anyway...sorry I made the runaway DS discussion start up. sweatdrop I love your comics Slim, and I look forward to the next updates as always!
