The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera stretched out her pace to a lazy jog but still managed to keep up with Akila. "Well, at least he can't complain about you smelling bad. Unless he doesn't like roses. He's never minded me using it though, so I doubt that's the case." She said easily as she jogged beside the girl. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila tried a laugh, hurrying through the crowd after buying a fried potato, and to the Inn. She ran up the stairs and knocked lightly on his door, "Clorogne? ...I bring food." "In."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera kept pace but turned aside to her own room instead. If Clorogne wanted her, she was sure she would be fetched. "And I'll follow my orders like a good little dog." She muttered to herself. She rubbed her neck at the reminder of being a dog. She hated being killed like that. She could feel it in her mind for days. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila went in with the potato and set it at the table, where he sat with papers again, and she vaguely wondered what those papers could possibly be about. "Lunch." "This is it?" "Yes, sorry sir." "Alright, you are dismissed." He seemed busy.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera took advantage of the time, writing up reports for Markus. When she'd finished, she went to see Akila, taking the reports with her. She trusted no one with them. "Anything to add before I send this off to Markus?" She asked in a low voice. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Tell him of the illegal slave trade...maybe he can do something about it." She spoke softly. This was after she left the room and entered the hall, of course.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera grinned at her. "Waay ahead of you darling. Wrote that long time ago." She disappeared into her room, whistling a strange tune. A crow landed on her windowsill cawing softly. She murmured a few words to it and sent the bird off, watching it fly away, message tied to it's leg. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Oh good, then...I got nothing." Akila grinned, and stretched, going to her room.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera waited, lounging on her bed, until the crow soon returned. She grabbed the message, reading it quickly. She frowned over part of it, then shrugged. It was Markus' decision. Glancing at the crow, she murmured a few words to it. It flew off, returning after not too long, a second crow on it's tail. Thanking the first crow who flew off, Aleera gathered up the second one, taking it to Akila's room. She slipped in and closed the door behind her. "Sorry for not knocking, but I'd rather not announce this to everybody." She said simply, revealing the crow. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila grinned. So Markus kept to his word, hm? She held out her arm for the crow and stroked below it's beak, "I've been waiting for you." She cooed to the animal, happily.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The crow hopped onto Akila's arm with a croak. Aleera smiled. "I'm to teach you about the crows apparently. First thing you'll need to know is how to summon this little guy. He's young so he hasn't been trained to a specific signal yet. I figured you would like to set your own. Decide on something and repeat it to him, over and over again. Put a small break each time though, so he doesn't think it's all one thing. Once you set the signal, he'll never respond to another." She grinned at the girl. "I helped Markus breed them specially for this. Their obedient to one, maybe two people. Usually two, as all the crows and ravens and such will respond to Markus as well as their master. Smart birds too." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila stroked the bird, ignoring her animalistic urges to chase it around, "Oh good...and what's his name?" She asked quietly, clicking her tongue three times, to show him her signal.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged. "He doesn't have one yet. I told you, I got a young bird for you. I usually start people off with a fresh bird, that way it's theirs and theirs alone. Name him what you want. You'll be the only one he'll ever respond to. See?" She grinned, seeing the bird preening Akila's short hair. "They like to do that. Especially if you have short hair. Doesn't stop Milard from doing it to me though." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"What name would you like, little fellow?" She smiled to the bird, "Hm...how about Zar?" she asked softly. Akila looked up to Aleera and laughed, "I love pets."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera smiled, reassured. "That's a good name. Well, at least I know I don't have to worry about you abusing him, like I do with some of those brutes." She made a face, then sighed. "But, beggars can't be choosers. We need them all. Still, take good care of Zar and don't let him get caught. He'll run messages back and forth between you and Markus or me or whoever you need, as long as he's met the person. They're quite adept at finding people." The tiger that should be....isn't....
