The green pair had been eager to get into the fray. Particularly after the green's favorite bronze had to be saved by a gold. Zygmuth's eyes were as red as her flames as she targeted onto each piece of Thread and showed it who exactly was boss. M'ton had had to hold her steady for the first part until her anger had cooled.
Now they were well settled in, and nothing was going to stop them. M'ton and Zygmuth spotted three clumps ahead of them at the same time. Go for it! He knew his lucky little green could do it! With a roar the green surged forward into a pocket of air that let her flame two clumps. She folded her wings and nosed over to rush down on the last one and flame it to char. I won't let anymore hurt Bossuth!

[+3 Target Accuracy!] If brown or bronze, they don't need as much speed, and instead belch a long flame, catching all three with ease. +1 Target Accuracy, +2 Flame Length!] 2. 3. 4. 5.

The small green found herself easily buffeted by the strong winds. Seeing herself pushed off course and right towards a sliver of Thread she executed an acrobatic move and twisted easily to avoid it. Good job, her rider complimented as she flamed it to ash.

Yes, the wind was pushing them around again. Yes, Bhavaranth was going to be sore for a few days. But would he give up? He would not!

Your dragon flames a small strand of thread, but unfortunately, a gust of wind blows the ash back into you. Your dragon hisses in pain, and if your face isn't protected, you might get a burn yourself! Thankfully, the burn isn't severe, and your dragon at least can carry on. [+1 Pain Resilience // -2 HP]
If he ate much more ash, L'zant was fairly certain he would have to clean himself inside and out. Still, a little stinging was tolerable. He had felt worse. He didn't look forward to doing so again, but he could manage this.

This was more like it. This was where the chromatics had an advantage, when there was a series of obstacles in a tight space where the browns and bronzes couldn't maneuver as well. Perhaps they'd never truly respect their little cousins, but the should appreciate the skill to pull something like this off, L'zant thought, as they dove between bodies to flame the last clump of Thread on this trajectory. Nuisance eliminated. On to the next!
