Thaliat, do you color your pictures digitally? (your signature)
If yes, are you using a program that supports layers?
If yes, does this program allow you to change layer blending settings?
If yes, try making your lineart a layer which is using multiplicaction as it's blending mode.
That way the lines will darken/blend with the underlying colors.
If you keep your lineart greyish instead of dark then it will create an effect of dark tinted lines automatically, which look quite nice.
(Imagine dark brown for skinny outlines, very dark blue for jeans etc.)
Plus you don't have to worry about erasing lines/colorpatches that way, since lineart and coloring will blend.
If these unicolor lines are your personal style, however...then don't mind me mrgreen

Ooh, Erius I know your comment was aimed towards Thaliat but our styles are alike in coloring so I will have to see if paint.net has that setting.
