"You are very welcome. Have a good day" Damien said, then hung up. He sat down in his chair and pulled out some files to go over. He started looking them over, but he couldn't get the thought two things out of his mind: Bishop Gilles' assassination and how the twins were doing at the moment. The Absolute Leader put the paper down and sat back in his chair. He laced his fingers together and began tapping his thumb together. Damien occasionally glanced at his office phone, anxiously awaiting Jian to call him with a report.

Not too long later, Jian sent Damien a text. 'He's dead. Troops pulling back now. Sending report via fax.' He wrote.

Damien read the text. By 'he', Damien hoped Jian referred to Bishop Gilles and not the assassin. He would have to read the report to find out.

Damien picked up the fax and read it. "Yes!" he exclaimed. He got up and began dancing around his office, making sure no one poked their head in to see what he was doing first.

Damien replied to Jian. Yes I did. Wonderful news. was his reply. He had to go see the Chief General in person. He couldn't contain his excitement, so the Absolute Leader went back down to the Chief General's office.

Damien knocked on Jian's door and stated "Absolute Leader requesting permission to enter" even though he knew he didn't need it. He just wanted to be nice to the Chief General.

"Of course! Come on in!" Jian replied, surprised to hear those words from Damien. He was in a much better mood then Jian had thought.

Damien stepped in and closed the door behind him. He then let a big grin spread over his face. "Oh, this is wonderful news. The thorn has been removed. Of course there will be all this media attention, and I'm sure we'll be accused of orchestrating this. We just have to keep denying involvement and wait for things to cool down. We may have to be wary of Mt. Angelo trying to step up their secret attacks, however. The other bishops will probably feel a bit threatened by this" he said. "Still, I am so happy about the success of today's mission. By the way, any updates come in?"

"Not yet." Jian replied. "I just sent out further orders. I should be receiving another fax in about another half an hour. Things are still very delicate right now. But they did want me to give you this." He stated, handing Damien a picture of the bishop's corpse.
