"I have. Just not tonight." Amaya said, taking another bite of her food. "Tell you what. When you get clothes for dressing up, then I'll wear a dress." She told him with a smirk as she now sipped her own wine.

"Vagabond, remember? I have an excuse. For one thing I haven't had anyone or anything to dress up for, and suits and tuxedos don't exactly travel well in duffel bags." Adrian pointed out. "Of course, I always hated to dress up anyway, so that could have something to do with it." he said with a small chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah..." Adrian took another sip of wine, and soon he leaned back in his chair utterly stuffed. "I think I shouldn't have had the pie, but it's hard to turn down dessert..." he groaned slightly once he was done with his meal.

"Well I'm waiting for it. And she'll throw up if we have it now." Amaya said with a laugh as she nodded to Calista when she walked in to clear more plates.

"Maybe when she's older." Amaya said with a shrug. Once the kitchen was cleaned up, she turned on a Christmas story in the living room, smiling as Calista ran in to watch.

"So has she seen every Christmas special the world has to offer by now? All those animated and stop motion ones at least? Lord knows you can't go a year without seeing them all lined up in a marathon." Adrian said with a smile as he watched Calista scamper off to watch tv.

"It's Christmas Eve, I'm pretty sure it comes with the holiday. Making sure no decorations were forgotten, the presents wrapped, and in your case the food perfect. You're perfectly allowed to be tired." Adrian said taking a seat next to her.
