"We're still not going anywhere near the local tavern, though." Ophelia, again, was more concerned about one-night stands from her promiscuous past rearing their ugly heads and saying more than she'd like Kaistern to hear. (Sadly, during her mother's reign she felt lonely and neglected and it was usually only those loud-mouthed losers that payed her any attention. Not like she'd ever want to admit any of this.) "Besides, such places suit my sister Bianca better."

"That's right, I never did get the chance to introduce myself to your sisters." Kaistern said as breakfast was brought out. "I should probably do that sometime before the wedding...

"They are both still here in the city, should you wish to meet them soon." Ophelia offered with a small smile. She wouldn't mind introducing them. She would just have to keep an eye on Bianca and make sure that she didn't ask or say something embarassing. She wasn't too worried about Helena, though.

"Like I said, I'll be sure to do it at some point. It sounds like we should work with the human settlements first. Especially if nukes are involved."

((We can have there be nukes and have them act as go-betweens/peace keepers until the humans can play nice, followed by the humans and demons, and then see where things go, whether politics or wedding and later babeh.))

((Oh, alright. But only because it's for you. rolleyes ))
After a bit of bickering between him and his advisors, Kaistern finally and stubbornly won out to join Ophelia on her trip home, under the condition he take a small handful of guards with him purely as a safety precaution. The group took a few griffins out and soon landed at the edge of the settlement, and Kaistern was as underdressed as possible with a plain cloak around his shoulders.

{Thank you~ *le huggles*}
Like Kaistern, Ophelia was by no means dressed as one would expect of soon-to-be-royalty. She dressed in a simple and practical manner, just in case anything went awry. Having even this handful of demon guards in a human settlement was bound to draw attention. Her sisters were still in the city, so they could not be relied on for assistance either. It was not Ophelia's village that had the nuclear weaponry, this she knew, but it was likely someone here might be able to tell her which village does.

"So? Any idea where to start?" Kaistern asked as he slipped off his griffin before helping Ophelia down.

"My village doesn't have the technology, time, or even resources to put into remaking nuclear weaponry. However, I'm fairly certain either the travelling merchants or local politicians should be able to point me in the right direction." From what Bianca told her, the village recently alligned itself with a more powerful human faction - one that very well had the means to create such weapons of mass destruction. She knew they'd tell her, too. Bribes and/or being held at gunpoint tended to loosen lips.
