M'ton was so proud of his lucky girl. She was showing her wingmates how it was done. Zygmuth flamed and ducked beautifully under the cloud of ash. She nimbly dodged around pieces of Thread in the fading light. Soon there wouldn't be much except stars (if they could see them) and dragon fire.
Hour 3; Round 2 Rolls
1. 18- Your dragon spots a few clumps of thread being blown about in front of them. If white, green, or blue, they manage to catch a pocket of air and surge forward, flaming down two of the three clumps, before dropping hard and getting the third. No thread's slipping through on your watch! Out of the corner of his eye, Menankith glimpsed a little sliver of Thread, but it was already too late! It wrapped around his neck, and they had to go Between before it could do irreparable damage.

Zygmuth luckily dodged around clumps of Thread and flamed more to ash.

Had the wind learned nothing? Apparently not. Bhavaranth was not going to let the wind win, and certainly not dictate which patches of Thread got to bite him. No thank you.
By Faranth! You and your dragon pull off a pretty awesome move to catch some Thread that's fallen through. You're able to save one of your Wingmates! Quote one of your Wingmates who took damage this Round! This will remove damage and any possible negative effect from that roll!
Mnereth's calm and steady influence was enough to ease the worse of K'lar's nerves, though he hated flying in the dark like this. It couldn't be helped. All he could do was keep his eyes open and stay alert.

He had to take a short skip Between. When Hinburath emerged he found himself lined up perfectly with a tiny bit of Thread. It didn't take long before it was ash.

Hinburath spotted a small clump and nosed after it thinking he could still get it. The wind pushed it back towards him as if trying to help. He managed to get Between, but not before it scored a foreleg a little.

You check in on your dragon to ensure they're doing all right. Thankfully, your dragon responds that they're feeling fine. All that training and practicing is coming full circle, as your dragon isn't feeling particularly fatigued. If they are suffering from a Fatigue Effect, they get a burst of renewed energy and the status is removed. [+1 Stamina] If your dragon isn't suffering, you are allowed to quote a fellow wingmate (must be in your same wing) who is suffering the effect! Your dragon trumpets at them encouragingly, making them feel better, and giving them a renewed burst of energy and effort. Remove Fatigue Effect from one wingmate!
They had been having pieces shaved off, sliver by sliver, and yet Bhavaranth was in good spirits. The wing would prevail! This Thread would end and go away! They just needed to hang on a little longer!
Your dragon flames a small strand of thread, but unfortunately, a gust of wind blows the ash back into you. Your dragon hisses in pain, and if your face isn't protected, you might get a burn yourself! Thankfully, the burn isn't severe, and your dragon at least can carry on. Though the sliver was gone, the wind pushed the ash right back at them! K'lar twisted his head sharply to avoid being burned, and Mnereth merely grunted with pain. It wasn't a bad burn, but K'lar was still fretting.

The pair found themselves diving after some Thread when the wind flared up, threatening to push the Thread right back into their face! K'lar quickly sent Mnereth Between before that could happen, relieved when they emerged safely.
