They aren't really evil per say...they are just cruel, spiteful and twisted. However they did make us in their image......so they are really no different than the manifestation of our own carnal and sadistic selves. Makes sense since people DO like to take advantage of each other and be all those things... still annoying none the less
Those whom embrace the sickness, darkness or carnal desires often due so for self satisfaction. They are the ones who could careless about being greater or more powerful than others, yet they are often the ones with the greater power because they do not limit themselves. It IS quite sad how many people do things just to make themselves feel good and better their own agenda. The world would be so much better if we learned to actually try to be nice to each other and care not just about ourselves but those around as well. We could make SO many changes in this world if we just cared a little more. cause the world is filled with people that are nothing more then organic meat bags. and cause we have stupid leaders that are just there for popularity instead of taking care of their country Again, if we actually cared more and made some changes things would be better. Things are this way because we allow them to be.

Just because people don't appreciate their life at that moment doesn't mean it should be taken away. NO ONE has the right to take away another person's life.

Ah but the thing is that in Saw he was doing it to give them a reason to appreciate their life if they could survive the trial. He wasn't trying to force them to be happy, because as stated before you can't force someone to be happy because it's not true happiness.
In the case of saw he forced them into a situation that if they could survive they would walk away thanking every day they survived and truly enjoying what they had, they would see life for the blessing it was.
If they didn't try or they failed, they died. Because in either situation he felt they didn't have enough desire to truly live.
