Rydia-Beck ruschca Rydia-Beck ruschca @chaz: yes. xd @becca: er...i'm in the colorguard, but i'm learning a little bit or marimba on the side. it's so fun! (marimba...and color guard :p) Oh color guard is cool though! And not easy either! I don't have the coordination to walk and chew gum at the same time.. XD! But ya, marimba is awesome! A kick a**, beautiful sounding instrument... That costs as much as a nice new car!! xp i knoooooow. i'm not actually in band class, so my friend has just been teaching me this and that when we have the time. oh man, i wish i could play it really well, like she does and be in the indoor percussion (for winter), but i can't get that good in time...and i think my instructor is expecting me to do guard anyways. stare ah well. what did you march/play? and who'd you march with? Small school.. Iaeger High School.. middle of nowhere..like a third world country.. Then Concord University.. Still small.. But I love it! I always marched w/alto sax except for one semester in high school I played trombone.. But I'm a clarinet major and played clarinet in concert band in high school.. played flute in ensembles.. I've learned to play a little of everything though... Had to take 3 semesters of piano.. 1 more to go.. ew.. I suck at piano.. but I can do basics.. But I couldn't read music till halfway thru 10th grade.. I learned my mimicing at first! haha, nice! when we had to learn how to play recorders in 4th grade, i decided that it sucked because i was really bad at it...so if i ever did band, i'd be in percussion XD my little bro is in percussion right now, actually. piano looks HARD. but it sounds so nice!
