@Jimmy- Well I think it might be funny if we did start with a serious tone like that, end ended up at the partially vanity squid-boy insane manga later on.
But I do think somewhere we should repeatedly source 'lol internetz!' 'ATG jesus child!' 'the internet did it' as to the questions of 'wtf how did that HAPPEN!?'
The above excuses for his being also seem to fit in nicely with this funny concept we have going anyway. If the serious tone of the first part is going to be lke a humorous red herring as to what he manga is going to be like, than yes...
I'm ranting again. I think I've stated what I mean.

I want to pump as much understanding into this as possible, because even ATGers who wern't there arn't going to know how this stuff happoned. At the moment it realy is going to turn out as a vanity manga, even by ATG standards. Only the devolupers are going to know what's going on. I'm willing to scrap this and rewrite, but if you want something specific in the future give me some short tidbits or bullets outlineing waht you want to happen, or what jokes you want to be worked in. This is why I didn't volenteer to do this part, because I thought people already knew how they wanted it to start.

....Now I feel bad. I guess I was thinking that the story and character would still make sense and would be reasonabley easy to get into without knowing the exact nature of his being-here-ness. I guess I was wrong. You do have a good point; people probably won't be able to understand the story very much will want to know, and might have trouble connecting with the plot if they don't. I'm sorry, I just thought that what we've been saying so far about it didn't really have such a serious tone.
It's just that I thought the manga was more about Muffin's aventures in the highschool and less about how he was here.
You're right, maybe I'm not giving enough detail for you writers to work on. Should I add another question concerning the overall tone of the manga/beginning/such to the fourth post?
