"Moooom...." Kai held that knowing look on his face as he folded his arms.

"Look! I came out here intending to buy some clothes for the babies and I, but then I saw you two out here and I was wondering what the hell was going on!"

"So long as you don't spill the beans to Larai, I'd give you details." Kai said.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I would never!" Mala replied. She knew when to keep her mouth shut! ...Most of the time.

(Xistund wants me to poke you to post in the rp since it's your turn for powers next. XD )

Kai just shrugged. "Daemon was looking for a wedding ring for Larai. Part usual mushy crap like you and dad, part feeling a little bad about having a family and not being married."

{Oh, thank you! I'll go post soon. But first, what did I miss? Oh, and I didn't know Van was the mom. biggrin }

"Why did he want you to help him, though? Why didn't he come by himself?"

(Well, he kinda was for Senel....>w>;; *goes to edit*)

"Seems like while he isn't entirely stable, having someone with even a partial godly aura, like me or Larai, is helping keep him in check. If he tried to come alone, he would have gone a killing-and-whore spree."

(Everyone is now hiding out in the nurse's office for now and are getting ready to move out and Ruri just got back from her own monster encounter/power awakening.)
(I also accidentally came up with a potential rp idea. XD )

(As for entering, maybe suggesting some ideas on where the group should go next? People are basically suggesting where they should hide out.)
(Although Xistund suggests rushing in and hugging Ruri, who came back from her encounter with a small bleeding head wound. XD )

Kai shrugged again. "She loves the guy. I don't get it either."

The next morning, Daemon made sure to get up even earlier than yesterday, wanting to make sure Larai woke up to breakfast in bed. Even if he was getting better, he did a lot more looking at the cookbook to make sure the meal turned out perfect. Setting everything on a tray created with his shadow, he even added a small vase with a single rose to top everything off. And there, sitting between that vase and a tall glass of orange juice, was the tiny velvet box that he prayed she'd except.

Larai was still asleep for the moment being, having fanciful dreams of something I dare not speak of. Something so horrid, so vile, so delightful it's...IT'S....a really lame meaningless gag~

'Hopefully she'll wake up at the smell of breakfast...I'm going to feel awful if this all gets cold before she wakes up....' Daemon thought as he carefully carried the tray into their room.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai did wake up within moments, sitting up just ten secconds after he entered their room. She rubbed her eyes before looking over at Daemon, and offered him a broad grin. "You really meant it."

"Now why would I lie about doing something for you?" Daemon said with a bright smile as he set the tray down in front of her before snuggling back up next her. He wouldn't say anything until she noticed the ring box.
