Sanzoskitsune why are pinatas barbaric? confused Because they're always shaped like people or animals and whatnot, and you basically beat the crap out of it and candy comes out. I dunno about that. Seems a little barbaric to me. When I was little, I thought that if you beat someone's face in, candy will come out. Just because of a pinata. Then again, I was a demented child anyway. So maybe it was just me...

this is a pinata, its a Mexican thing for parties usually for little kids birthday parties. First you fill it with candy. Then you blindfold the kid spin him around and have him try to hit the pinata with a bat or some sort of stick, then when the candy spills out you try to get as much as you can 3nodding

Um you probably don't mean it in this way but calling it barbaric kind of offends me, I'm Mexican and grew up with pinatas at my birthday, we actually had one the first year I moved to the US so that I wouldn't feel so home sick, its not barbaric its just something from the culture.

Oh man, I didn't mean it in that offensive a way, and I'm sorry for offending you. sad And you probably don't torture pinatas the way that me and my friends did when we were little... What's the history of the pinata?? I'm curious.

I apologise completely for the remark about pinatas. I should've done my research beforehand.
