Perfect example of a Pam-ism. She moves us down to P-town so that she can save all the witches and gays not through words but through her actions that reflect God's love for them. 2 weeks later she gives her own daughter (me) 3 months to get a job, car, license and a new place to live without any help...why...for being on birth control and practice safe sex with a man I was engaged too.
Because I am sure God would kick out his own child....wouldn't he?

Mhm... I know, Sanzo. Still... I'm still so pissed... I really wanted to explore being a Priest y'know... yet I know that people wouldn't accept an openly-gay Priest to conduct their sacraments for them - no matter how strongly one feels that the Christian God is calling one to the Priesthood.

I've only had a SHORT run-in with organized religion. Quite short indeed.
My father was dating an extremely dedicated Christian for a while. Apparently she was, by my guy-friend and brother's standards, "hawt"...so she stayed around longer than I would have liked. I was forced to go to church early each Sunday morning, where I would slouch and glare at anyone who dared peep at me. I was an unhappy camper...
Also.....This girlfriend (Jennifer) thought it would be nice to put me in the CHILD'S CLASSES with her eight-year-old son. Needless to say, when some old lady with a guitar asked me to shake my foot and pretend there was a snake wrapped around it, I snapped back at her that I refused to dance and that I liked snakes....
I was swiftly taken out of church after a while. biggrin

Ah, Tsuji, the only time I've gotten any negatives from an energy drink was when I drank two at a time.
Ladi, once again that reminds me of my father. The guy wouldn't and still won't do anything to help my mother support my sisters and me.

Yeah, Lin... I currently attend an Episcopal church... nice people, I'm just not into the religion right now... but we have an openly gay bishop... it's just I don't think we're allowed to ordain any more open gays 'cause polotical/church politic reasons...

Of course... God chooses to damn people to show his aryan justice (sort-of stolen from Tsuji).
Edit: I've taken a leave on my Theology studies involving Feminist Theology for the moment, Sanzo. The people I've talked to kept arguing about tradition whenever I tried to talk about it.

Iwould ghave acted as if a snake was on my leg and pretend to pick it up and hold it calmly. I would do that just to piss the lady off.

According to my own father I'm cursed and therefor more susceptable to evil spirits and whatnot due to what my ancestors(on my mom's side of coures) did. Oh, and he expects me to understand and still love him ^.^ I'm old enough to understand when my dad tells me I'm cursed based on what he and scripture say, right? Right?
That's the last time I tell him anything, even something as trivial as waking up in the middle of the night for a week... (which led up to the whole 'joor cursed Lobo' thing...) Well, Lobo refuses to forgive her father for a very long time to say the least, though she doesn't think he realizes she's mad at him in the first place... *sigh*

Celestial, I've been known to have a heartrate in excess of 90 after a single drink (normally around 70, resting 66). There was a couple of days several months ago that I had 4 RBs in a 6 hour period... that was bad! -Tsuji
