"Mmm don't remind me." Amaya muttered, putting a pillow over her face as she sighed for a moment. "Alright. Bed time. For me at least, I dunno about you." She told him as she sat up and stretched.

"Bed sounds good. I think we're all eager for Christmas to come for one reason or another." Adrian said leaning forward to give himself some room to stretch his wings a bit.

Nodding as she walked off to the bedroom, Amaya already began stripping clothes off to change. At this point she was too tired to care, and once she got her pajamas on, she fell into bed, cuddling her pillow tightly.

Once Adrian was in his now official pj pants, he crawled into bed next to Amaya, drifting off to sleep with one wing partially hanging over the edge of the bed and the other draped lovingly over himself and Amaya.

Calista was up before the sun next morning, sneaking into her mom and Adrian's bedroom before she jumped on the bed and began shouting excitedly. "It's Christmas! It's Christmas! Get up! Santa came!"
Amaya groaned, putting an arm over her eyes as she was woken up by Calista. "Can't we sleep in?..." Amaya whined.

"It's six! Mommy said I could wake you two up at six! It's six! So get up!" Calista shouted, jumping on the bed again.
"I wish I didn't give you a digital clock. I would've had a little longer for you to learn clocks otherwise." Amaya groaned as she now sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"Six? You really gave her permission to wake us up at six?" Adrian groaned as he slowly removed his wing and grudgingly sat up.

"Any later and she would've died from excitement. Besides, if I didn't give her a time, she would've woken us up at three. She wakes up every hour on Christmas eve." Amaya muttered, now getting out of bed as she stretched. "Okay, go wait for us in the living room. Don't open anything though. We need to make coffee and get ready." She told the girl, who nodded and ran off.

"Never before have I wanted coffee so bad..." Adrian said with a yawn as he slipped out of bed and stretched.

"Same here." Amaya muttered, putting on slippers and brushing her hair out a bit. "Ugh it's too early. The good thing is, she'll sleep later today now."

"Psh, you're no fun." Amaya teased as she followed after Adrian, still yawning. She started the fire and turned on Christmas music while Adrian made the coffee, chuckling at Calista's sheer excitement.

((I can honestly say I've never seen an apartment with a fireplace but okay. XD ))
"Sorry, I'm used to not waking up until nine or so. I don't think there's ever been a time when I had to get up this early." Adrian said pouring a cup of coffee for himself and Amaya.

"Try having a kid. You'll never sleep." Amaya muttered as she took the cup from him and sipped it slowly. Taking a seat on the couch, she sighed and pulled out her camera for Calista's grandparent's presents. "Alright, go ahead." She said, waving Calista on to open her presents.
