"Or at the very least not so soon. We'd probably be waiting another hundred years before having another kid." Van said smiling down at Senel. "And I like the tail, I just happen to like my legs too. And I don't mind having the kids, I'd just prefer it not happen too often or we'll run out of room for them all."

"Yeah. Plus, giving birth is extremely painful as it is. Doing it every year or less instead of every hundred years or so might not be too pleasant. Physically, at least." Mala replied with a chuckle.

"It'd also be nice if these two didn't grow up embarrassed of their old man. Well, not anymore than usual." Van said with a chuckle.

"Yes. Hopefully they won't mind plenty of family time with us, either. I'd like to do plenty of fun things with them when they're older, like taking them to amusement parks and...what fun events do mortals have these days?" Mala felt embarassed, having secluded herself from the world of humans for so long that she barely knew - aside from the language - their many customs.

"I...don't know really....Heck, if you're clueless, then there's no way I'd know." Van said, having been even more out of touch with mortals than Mala was.

"...Eh, I'm sure we'll think of something fun to do." Mala said with a chuckle. It's not like they really had any need to socialize so closely with the mortals, right?

"I hear they've got these nifty moving picture shows now. Like a book, but you can actually see everything happening." Van suggested with a bit of an excited sparkle in his eye at the thought of such a thing.

"What? Really? That sounds like something we should see for ourselves sometime, doesn't it?" Mala asked, a sparkle in her eye as she imagined such a strange concept.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Yeah, I hear they're called 'movies'." Van said in wonder. "Supposedly most mortals these days have these boxes in their homes that let them watch shorter movies and other things on them."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Really? Maybe we should get ourselves one. It'd be something interesting and new, for sure~"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"We'd hate to be the uncool parents without one, I'm sure." Van said with a chuckle.

((And then Mala found a substitute for all those pornographic books of hers....))
