Norton is a resource hog, it never goes away even when you tell it to, and it's a b***h to uninstall. In short, it acts exactly like spyware.
EDIT: Oh yeah and when it breaks, it's really hard to fix. And their tech support is useless, especially when you just need them to give you the link to install a manual update so the stupid program will stop being broken. It's bad when I know how to fix the program better than their techs do. Then again, I did work in the software department of a major computer corporation for a year and a half. In one of the Canadian call centres, where the techs actually get decent training because the trainers throw the "approved" material out the window and teach us stuff that actually matters and works. Yeah. Y'know, the one where the techs know what the hell they're doing. [/rant]
