Are you guys going to get another one later or are ya just gonna hang to that one from now on? ((Lulz no porn on my computer (don't want no viruses or other crap D smile , like bluegrass I prefer trashy romance novels. I use to like yaoi, but that died on me when I left high school, so I guess I was only "into it" cause my friend shared it with me. XD XD I remember a picture of Hiro and Duo that my friend showed me once, it was just hella funny. It involved sunflowers wtf...)) Probably get another one later but for now this will do. What is sad, is that the Feb. 9th 2009 thing only affects people who have old TVs and use antenna instead of cable or satellite. Meaning the poor, or budget-wise, and only those, will get screwed by this.
It's the people that don't get a new TV each year, and the people that don't buy the most expensive TV package, that tend to be more book-oriented... isn't that what those one commercials are aiming at? Getting us to actually do something?
-mildly similar note, did anyone else notice fat flaps on the Olympic athletes? Of course they weren't really fat flaps, but they sure did look like them. Kinda funny... overly un-fit and overly-fit people, both have those rolls. (swimmers- around their arms, gymnasts- big thighs, and then, for some people, their body just had an overall pudgy look. I happened to find this amusing.) It basically proved to me that fit has extremely little to do with what many aim for when they look in the mirror and decide to go to the gym. Few care what they weigh, or if they can do a mile walk in under 30 min, it's about appearance.

@Metallic: I would appreciate it if you didn't try to change the topic of conversation in every thread you enter. That is honestly spam to just come in here and decide you're going to comment on the appearance of Olympic athletes. It is unnecessary and you should create a separate topic to discuss it. Thank you.
OTHERWISE: we've had the same TV for probably about ten years now and it still works quite well. Sometimes it will take a moment or two to start up and show the picture but otherwise, it works. :] My personal television which I have for the purpose of video-game playing is a twelve inch emerson TV/VCR combo with a broken VCR. lawl. I suck.

~Metalic_Noodles So you've come to the conclusion that athletes arent models. Wow. whats happening on the 9th feb 09? in feb, in the usa, all analog television signals are required by law to go to digital, so everyone who uses "bunny ears" will have to get a special converter box thing. BUT, it doesn't cost anything. the government is doing a special coupon thing for it...so idk why this would affect poor people in general. confused we need a new tv because our current one has to "warm up" before ANY picture will come up...plus, the colors are going wonky. we HAD a new tv, which angel's a*****e of a brother STOLE FROM US when he moved out. stare a*****e.

~Metalic_Noodles Those thick thighs could do more backflips than you could ever dream of and they are OH SO HAWT too. Also yes the govt is giving out coupons for these converter boxes so they are basically free. All you have to do is pay the taxes for it. Which is nothing if you live in a state without state taxes.

Iconised Ghost aw man. I wanna move to california one day, i hear it is 21 degrees C even in winter mrgreen but now other, tax free states tempt me yea its warm all the time but I would not suggest Oregon if you want warm. I live in Washington just north and Oregon and Washington are the same. they're wet a lot of the time. It gets hot in summer but not too lovely in winter. I'd opt for taxes if I were you.
