No, but they can flap their wings to give them air time, meaning extended jumps and gliding, that should be enough to get across))

Cuccos can at least glide. In zelda games, when you pick up a cucco and jump off a high ledge, you glide down lol. Plus when you unleash the wrath of the Cuccos, they come flying down on you and attack you!

By the way, Talon hated you all. And when you glide, your altitude lowers quickly.
