Strong, understanding, brave and kind. Kaleidoscope is very much a knight in every way. Honesty, integrity, loyalty, honor, discipline and upholding justice, these are things that he holds close to him, never wavering from the path he has chosen. He uses his strength to protect the weak and vanquish evil, intelligence to keep one step ahead of the enemy, his courage to never back down and his luck to get him out of sticky situations.

For as long as he can remember Kaleidoscope had dreamed about becoming a Knight. Some called him foolish, while others encouraged his dreams. However in his small family herd there was no one to teach him these ways and therefore his dreams were put on hold. While he stayed with his family for a long time eventually the drive to see his dream come true meant he would have to leave to seek out the proper training. That day was the day everything changed for the large rainbow stallion. All those days and nights of guard duty had only furthered his hopes and desires. Now it was time to see if his resolve would make him a Knight or present him with a failure.

It was on his travels that he heard about a Knight who lived in the lands who was also a beta of his herd. Knowing this would be his first step in the right direction Kale sought out this stallion and asked for him to become his mentor. The stallion at first refused, but that did not deter Kale one bit, instead he kept returning to the stallion asking for training. Eventually Ironforge accepted to test him, if he passed then the training would begin, however if he failed that would be the end for him. Kale of course agreed to these terms. The testing was a success and Kale was officially a knight in training.

For months Kale trained hard with Ironforge. Though his mentor was often gruff and rarely openly showed approval of anything he did Kale could see that he was making progress. The training involved both physical and mental strengthening, exploring the lands and ensuring the Knights image remained in tact for others. During this time of training Kale occasionally had free time when Ironforge’s herd duties kept him from being present. It was during these times that Kale would wander the lands, seeking out other knowledge that would help him in the future and also ensuring that he would be there if someone needed help. He met many new faces during these times, helped a few Soquili find their way and also encountered a few interesting mares. One in particular caught his attention, a shy purple mare named Ecclesia, proved to draw him in. She was quite different than anyone he had previously met, and though she was shy he could see something beneath that. When she told him of her dream to one day see the ocean he offered to guide her there, act as her protector as she had never left her family’s lands before, and while she neither outright accepted not rejected his offer, Kale will make sure that one day she gets to see her dream come to life as he did with his.

As his training started to come to a close Kale and Ironforge went out to investigate rumors of new breeds within the lands, those that were similar in stature to Usdia but had different features such as horns, fins and wings. They were fortunate enough to come across a stallion from one of these new herds who told them about the breeds and why they had traveled to these lands. With this knowledge the pair was able to return to Ironforge’s herd to let them know these new breeds were no threat. It is through many encounters like this that Kale has managed to gather a great deal of knowledge about the lands, these new breeds, older breeds and what lies out beyond the lands he knows. This will no doubt server him well in the future.

Recently Kale met with Ironforge who gave him a final unscheduled test. This was a test to see if what he had been taught had truly sunk in. A spar between the pair showed Ironforge that Kale had indeed learned and remembered all that he had been taught and to Kale’s surprise, and excitement, Ironforge bestowed the rank of Knight upon the stallion. Now that his dream has finally come true Kale has set off into the lands to put his training to use, though he still returns often to his mentor to catch up on what has been happening.

Atheya is young and because of that has tons of energy to spend. This is helpful for trying to keep up with her friend Kaleidoscope as he completes his daily training. Sometimes however she lets her curiosity get the better of her and rushes ahead without considering consequences, this is something that she is working on as Atheya knows it disappoints and worries Kaleidoscope when she does such things. In general though she is an extremely helpful sidekick to the rainbow stallion and is willing to help out others if needed.

Even more knight training. While he has been undergoing much training with his current mentor Ironforge, Kaleidoscope is always looking for new things to learn.

A damsel in distress to rescue. What kind of knight would let a damsel in distress not get rescued? Certainly not Kaleidoscope.

A lady to call his own. Eventually he would like to find a mate and start a family. This can work out in many different ways. Be it a female whom he rescued and then falls in love with or something else. A fling is possible if the right female comes along though he would like a lifemate.
