Xander sighed, watching his sister go off to her room. "Don't worry, I won't let them into your room." He said softly, muttering into the empty space. His voice would be heard by none at this very moment - exactly the way he intended it to be.
---
Lucian glanced at Aurore-Belle as she caught his arm. Nodding, he continued to hurry off after Mikuyu. "Don't worry, I won't." He whispered, although he doubted Aurore-Belle could even hear him as he moved through the house.

"H-hey, don't go go too far," Ryan called after Lucian, following the other male. "You might get seperated, and it's pretty big and dark in here..." He was worried one of them might get lost, or hurt, or perhaps something like a wolf would catch them and maul their bodies apart or...or...
No, he was thinking too much, being too paranoid. He needed to calm himself down. If that were possible. He lightly grabbed the back of Lucian's shirt to guide himself. His eyesight was terrible in the dark, and he couldn't risk getting seperated and alone.

Aurore-Belle was at the top of the stairs. She turned around, and saw nobody. "Hey...I thought....oh, nevermind.." she said, shrugging. She pulled out her flashlight and turned it on. She started down the hallway, looking for a room to sit in for a while. She came across a purple one, and opened the door. She smiled as she walked it. It felt....homely.

Lucian turned as he suddenly felt resistance on his back. His eyes spotted Ryan quietly, sighing exasperated. Looking past the other male, he expected to see Aurore-Belle, but he saw not a sign of her. "Hey - where'd Aurore go?" He asked quickly, moving to stop Miyuku in her tracks. He didn't need both girls off on their own. One was bad enough. What if one of the floor boards gave way? "You should've stayed by her, just in case a floor board gives way or something." He told him, hoping that Aurore-Belle was just trying to freak them out or something.
---
Xander frowned as the girl moved towards his sister's room. No, he couldn't let her bother Xaundallyn - Xaun was already bad enough at that point. Quickly, he worked himself to materialize, sliding his hand on the girl's shoulder. "You know, that room isn't safe. Weak floorboards." He told her, having fully materialized. Carefully, he moved to pull her from the room and close Xaundallyn's door.

"Oh, thanks man," said Aurore, turning around. She then saw a boy about her age with older clothes. She tilted her head, and then her jaw dropped. Her flashlight clamored to the floor. She stood frozen. She knew that there had been a boy and girl in the house....And she knew that she had never seen this boy before in her life. She knew all the people who were supposed to be on this trip. He came out of no where....

It took only a moment for Xander to realize what had happened. Shoot, shoot, shoot. She didn't recognize him. "I am sorry, did I frighten you? Me and my sister just moved into town recently, and I saw you and your friends coming into this house, so I decided to follow." He explained, hoping that his ruse would work. Bending down, he retrieved the flashlight and handed it back to Aurore-Belle. "Best not loose this - the house seems pretty dark." He told her as he handed the device back to her.

Xaundellyn's eyes flashed when the doorknob began to turn, the old wood sticking for a moment before swinging fully open to reveal her brother speaking with one of the intruders. Her lips twisted, and she pointed one finger at her brother. "Deals a deal." She whispered, her body starting to sink downwards, through the floor boards. "She came into my room. Now I get to scare them out." Wiggling her fingers at Xander, she soon came to a halt in the kitchen. The footsteps of a few people reached her ears and she snickered. Turning sideways, she made her way into a closet and began to materialize. stretching in her solid form, Xaundellyn let out a blood curdling scream, throwing herself forwards, the door shuttering under her wait. "Help me! P-please!" fists thundering on the door, which was locked and so old it would take an effort to open it, she screamed again. Her voice was distorted, coming out as if it echoed through the house, scrapped down the halls. Haunting.

She didn't buy his story at first, and then came the bone-chilling scream. Aurore-Belle nearly jumped into the boy's arms. She clung to his arm, and asked, "What the hell was that?!" She looked absolutely ashen, and terrified. She had no idea that she was the cause of the scream.

A worried look crossed Xander's face immediately. Not for the girl who was screaming, no, he knew that was his sister trying to get them out of the house. He looked at Aurore-Belle, trying to come up with an explanation, keeping Aurore-Belle protectively close - for acting sake's. "That sounded like...I think my sister followed me in!" He said, his voice strained and worried. He was worried for the living who'd entered - he didn't know what his sister was up to. Honestly, he appreciated the new company, but she was a far way from understanding that.
---
Lucian heard the scream and jumped. "Aurore!" He called out, worried that it might be her. "What if she's hurt? She might've fallen through floor boards or something! We've got to help her." He wasn't the slightest bit frightened - just worried that Aurore-Belle might have gotten hurt.

Xaundellyn began to cry, her sobs heart broken and frightened, "Pleeease!" She moaned, flinging herself backwards, crashing into an old shelf, boxes and cans clattering, jars shattering where they hit the ground.

"Then we have to go find her!" said Aurore. "She could get hurt with the loose floorboards..." She left the boy's side and started down the hall again. She almost ran down the stairs, but slipped, and started to slide down on her buttocks. When she got all the way down, she took a sharp breath in, and then started to go around the house, searching for the boy's little sister.

"Hey, be careful!" Xander called after Aurore-Belle, running after her. This couldn't be good - whatever his sister was doing.

Aurore-Belle laughed. "Yea, okay," she said. She then went into the kitchen were the sound was coming from. She had her flashlight tightly in hand as she went slowly into the abyss of darkness. She looking in all the pantries and cabinets, but couldn't find the girl.

Xaundellyn slammed against the pantry door, huffing irritatedly at how long it was taking the intruding humans to come to her 'rescue'. She fidgeted, not used to being in a fully solid human body. Reaching up, she gave a tug to her hair, it didn't hurt. Nothing hurt anymore. She'd begun to grow bored by this game. Pounding on the door once more she croaked, "Help..." Before falling to the ground, her head smacking against the floor with a sickening thud.

Lucian hurried to the door where he had heard the screaming come from. At this point, he'd forgotten completely about Mikuyu and Ryan - his focus was on the voice. He hadn't yet realized that it didn't belong to Aurore-Belle. He banged on the door, trying to shove it open.
