Thumpet smiled, "I could kiss you again if you decide..." This one was definitely a keeper.
Fort looked at the Cat woman and said, "Kids these days...I live out here. My camp is in the canyons a few miles away."

Lee's eyes widened and he blushed more with a shy smile. "U-Um well..." suddenly there was a cough and a few men in the saloon looked angry. "Who do you think you are? Stealing a kiss from our desert flower?" one said as he picked Lee up and pinned him to the wall. "Let's teach him to keep his paws to himself." another said and took out a knife.

"Leave him alone!" Thumpet yelled. She ignored the desert flower comment because she was more worried about Lee. For once in her life she didn't know what to do. Normally she would have broken a few jaws, but this time she wasn't just angry, she was worried over someone she liked.

"Stay out of this!" one guy said and pushed Thumpet away. When they did Lee growled. His hands started to glow and suddenly large bat wings came out and he hit the guys with them. The men yelled in pain and they went for him but before they could get to him, he set off a smoke bomb. There were many sounds of fighting within the cloud and when it cleared up the men were out cold and Lee stood there with a few scratches. "Are you ok?" he asked Thumpet.

Thumpet slowly stood and hugged Lee. "Thankyou..." And she blushed vividly. She wanted to thank him, but didn't think words were enough, so she kissed him on the cheek again.

Lee blushed deeply again but smiled and hugged her. "I'm just glad you're alright." he said. "Sorry I caused such a big mess." he said as he looked at the broken chairs. "I'll pay for those." he added with an embarrassed laugh.

Thumpet Grabbed his hand and led him upstairs.

Thumpet slowly walked back down the stairs and returned to the bar.

Lee shakily came down the stairs with a very deep blush. He was quiet but smiled at Thumpet and sat back at the bar eating another apple.

Thumpet smiled as she cleaned a shot glass.

"I'll be fine." Molly said to them both while crossing her arms stubbornly. She then looked at Jack and tilted her head. "You look familiar somehow..." she said.
Lee watched her then spoke up. "Um...what does this make us now?" he asked her.
