Shoom! Yessss, I am lead guitarist, thank you Zim for being my voice on here while I was getting ready for practice! heart
By the way, Angel, if anyone else wants to be in or play an instrument, you could always add in a rhythm guitarist, which brings me to my main point, what kind of music are we going to be "playing?"
With the keys and violin, it'd probably come out something like what Emilie Autumn or The Cruxshadows would play....not that some of you would mind that, but, just pointin' out the obvious.

I was thinking a more alternative, edgy version of Gorillaz music. Speaking of music, should I just make up lyrics off the top of my head (which is pretty easy in most cases) or use already made songs?

I was thinking of having a quote from each of the Gorillaz members in the first post and having like the story of what happened to them (by the way, what should be the reason they're gone now? Death or the band broke up?) after wards. Then, in the second post is two really deep quotes by Noodle that partially can be related to the current story and after that is the band manager, Ichigo's character, talking as if they're doing an interview about the up and coming band their managing and he basically explains the story for this new band. Though I'd want to get a few band members profile in before that because I wanna mention a few of the ways the members have been gathered to form this new band. Mmm..Reality rose..it could work, I'm still not sold on it, so I'm going to play with this one.
How about A Rose from Reality or Rose of Reality? You could always start the role-play with an argument over a band name, and a death of a member OOOH I know! How about, we go with whatever the original band name was that you liked, Angel, a band member dies, and due to the fact that we're still not getting our message across to the world ---- we decide to change the name and bury the old one with the member..and a rose comes from such a grim reality...which is whatever the new name for the band is.

How about the frontman/vocalist dies? Not my character. A NPC, of course. My character can have been very good friends with the old vocalist before he died and she knew what few songs the band had already been working on, so the band manager took her as the new vocalist. But before that, at the funeral, my character leaves a rose on the grave and sings one of the band's songs and the band manager goes up to her and asks her how she knew that and then bam, she's the new vocalist.
And this is in the world of Gorillaz.

My character can have been very good friends with the old vocalist before he died and she knew what few songs the band had already been working on, so the band manager took her as the new vocalist.
