Gruff could see the injuries were beginning to build up on him, with the oncoming Hurricane seeming like his last hit he could take. Well, he had made a show of using his opponent's attacks against them to his advantage as best he could, so why not this time too? Allowing the Hurricane to sweep him off the ground, the Marowak would do his best to follow the spin around before hooking the ropes with his bone, averting his course from the Dragonite to the Heracross as he tucked his head in and prepared for a Double-Edge. While this lead to a slightly awkward bit of momentum as he went flying at the Bug type, he seemed aimed to slam Hera into the ropes with nearly all his force.

Nodding at Gruff's choice in attack, he would smack the top side of his arm before quickly moving to catch the Pokeball it deposited out of his forearm. Spinning the device in his hand, Reno waited to see if Gruff landed the hit before he tagged the Ground type out.

Ryan sighs. It wasn't completely useless information. He, along with Sklya, would press on, asking others about Kukui/Masked Royal and the wherabouts of either.

Hawlucha would be thrown around by the second Hurricane in the last several minutes, nearly sent flying out of the ring. Sighing, Amaranth quickly raised her Pokemon's ball to recall him, taking Los Bombardeo Aereo out of the match and into possibly more of the spectators' hearts. "Finally... maybe now I can just quietly bow out-"

"Faaar, farfarfar farfetch'd!"

Almost as soon as she had put Hawlucha's ball away, the one containing her Farfetch'd suddenly opened. For some bizarre reason, he was sporting a mask of his own, a replica of the one donned by a certain other Farfetch'd that still held a grudge with Sub. Brandishing the look in his wings, he'd go to a nearby totem and carved a large V on it before deciding to take his place in the ring.

"That's not 'El Pato'," GRAY spoke up through Amaranth's SNAG. "Your Farfetch'd must have a personality disorder. I hear it's treatable if you actually care to do so."

"Not the time, GRAY! Ugh, why...?"

Keiko started panicking when she saw Gruff run toward Hera, the Dragonite's Hurricane making it faster. But then, seeing the wind reminded her of something, and the memory gave her an idea.

"Hera, Endure! Stop him in his tracks!" Keiko shouted.

Hera covered her body with her arms and braced herself, waiting for Gruff to collide with her.

She would wait out the storm.

With the Pokemon off the Dragonite's case for the moment, Tristen quickly looked on to see what was going on. A new Pokemon on the field to replace the Hawlucha, a Farfetch'd. The Heracross was quickly going on its last legs, and that Marowak being absurdly tenacious. WIth the Marowak playing with the Heracross, there was really one true target. "Dragonite, after that Farfetch'd! Use Thunder Punch!" Tristen shouted.

"Arrroo!!!" The Dragonite howled, electricity flickered from its horns, moving straight to its claw in a instant. The Dragonite then rushed for the bird with its electrical strike.

Gruff would smack against the Heracross before the sudden stop shocked the Ground type into a stupor. Well, there went that plan to take care of the giant bug. Returning the Marowak to its Pokeball, Reno would casually toss the Pokeball from his arm with a smile. "Nalu, help out a little! Nuzzle that Dragonite!" Reno commanded, watching as the Pikachu dashed from its position towards the Dragonite with a happy smile on his face. It wanted this new friend to be heartily greeted by the warm embrace of it's cheeks and the little charge it carried. Reno wouldn't ever have him use that charge to paralysis someone from how powerful it was. Right?

Young Hau would give Odd a shocked stare for a brief moment, though never once ending his constantly shoveling of malasada into his mouth. No sooner did Odd put down his plate did a Munchlax bounce up with another plate piled high for the glutton to consume. A few seconds later a second Munchlax would prance up as Hau finished his own plate. If either contestant paid attention to their surroundings they would see that everyone else had dropped out and were now watching Hau and Odd with utter amazement.

-----

The Torracat hybrid would attempt to block the Hex empowered punch with his raised arms, however the ghostly power behind it he could not protect himself from, the hybrid's very soul pained by the blow. With an angered growl the hybrid was quick to counter after smacking Lykas' right fist away and in one fluid motion made it look like he would punch his stomach but with lightning speed would draw his fist away before contact and instead flex his claws out and drag them across his midsection as they gave off a very faint green glow. No one else would notice this but Lykas would as in that moment he felt his energy being drained. What did it just do?

Hau would just have to stare some more because the moment that plate was set in front of him, Odd began to inhale the new malasadas as well. The great thing about a demonic appetite was the matching metabolism. Odd just kept eating, never having to worry about feeling full. Of course he wasn't going to let on that he didn't, slowing down a bit from time to time, as if he were starting to feel full before picking back up again.

Lykas hissed as he felt claws rake across his torso, his energy being sapped at the same time. "The hell, kid?!" He demanded, staggering back a step or two and looking down at his stomach. There were several long scratches across his stomach now, all leaking a blue-ish liquid. "You're lucky I don't have much blood in me anymore..." He told the hybrid, his forehead gem beginning to glow. "I'm trying really hard to play fair here but..." His hands and tentacles became liquid, quickly shedding the boxing gloves he'd requested. Clearly they weren't going to be making this a fun match against this kid. Time to dance. With a quick step and a feint to the left, he'd follow it with a quick succession of blows: a right hook right his arm, followed by an uppercut from one of his left tentacles, two quick jabs from a right hand tentacle followed by the other left one and, finally, a diagonal uppercut from his remaining right hand tentacle, intending to launch the feline hybrid off his feet. Someone's a little salty after those claws.

Almost as soon as Farfetch'd had come out, he'd find himself face to face with a Dragonite that was ready to turn him into a proper thanksgiving dinner. Out of instinct, he'd swing his leek to try and parry the oncoming Thunder Punch, dark-type energy around it. A Knock Off, perhaps?

Regardless, the electricity would still course through him, doing a fair bit of damage despite the attempt at being somewhat flashy. But he wasn't out of the fight by any means.

Keiko would sigh in relief when Gruff bounced off the enduring Heracross, and after a moment, notice that nobody was attacking her at the moment. She had a moment to breathe, but how long would it last?

"This is crazy," she said to noone in particular. "Having to decide who to hurt every few seconds, having to watch my back constantly... I thought Double Battles were intense, and I've never even fought one of those by myself. But I'm alone, now. Surrounded by enemies... the only mercy being their willingness to attack each other...

Keiko was unsure of what to do, of who to attack. Dragonite was the obvious target, it being the biggest and possibly the strongest opponent. But its trainer was on his next to last Pokemon and has been getting ganged up on since round one. Nalu was another option, as it was let out recently. Being fresh, lowering his strength was a good idea. But he was far too cute for Keiko to try to attack. Then there was the El Pato look-alike, but Hera had a type disadvantage against it. There were no good options, here, and Hera lacking any self-status-boosting moves didn't help any. Neither did the fact that everybody was on their next-to-last Pokemon already.

Everybody except for her. Hell, if anything, attacking any one person in particular was a bad idea at this point, as it would serve little purpose other than drawing attention to herself. If anything she should be the one getting ganged up on. Nevertheless, a decision had to be made, and since logic was failing her, she let her annoyance at Reno's observations in the past influence her decision. "Hera, use Night Slash on Nalu!" she yelled, pointing at the Pikachu.

Something in Keiko's mind told her she should have saved that attack for after Nalu's next evolution, but she was beyond strategy at the moment.

I looked on towards Reno, seeing him practically focus on Tristen now. Though at this point, I have no idea as to why. Castform understandably, Dragonite, maybe it being the bigger and badder Pokemon on the field right now, perhaps, but now its starting to look like he's focusing him for some profound reason, even before this Pikachu he's got out now. "Dragonite! Dragon Tail!" Tristen shouted. With a hard turn, fighting through the paralysis, the Dragonite swung its tail hard at the offending Pokemon.

Giving a smile as he saw the motivation and fire coming from Keiko and Tristan now, Reno felt his enthusiasm at getting the two Snagems to be more proactive waver when Nalu was clothesline by a Dragon Tail and brought to a sudden stop by Hera's Night Slash. "Well, at least I got something out of you two..." He muttered, reaching into his pocket to grab his newest acquisition. Why did that guy decide he needed to buy a Thunder Stone and use it here anyways?

Wait, why wasn't it in his pocket?

Looking across the battlefield, Reno found himself staring at Nalu as the Pikachu dropped onto the stone at Hera's feet. Staring up as a bright flash and an outpouring of energy occurred, Reno instinctively said, "Thundsrshick, Nalu. Time for a bug roast." A bolt of electricity would fire at the Heracross above Nalu before the white flow finally cleared. "What the hell just happened!?" Reno shouted, stating at the now floating and extremely cheerful Raichu that occupied the field.

"What on-" Amaranth shouted, only to stop herself an shield her eyes from the sudden flash as Nalu apparently decided now was the perfect time to munch on a Thunder Stone. Farfetch'd was left having to shield his eyes as well on instinct, though when the light cleared, neither one knew what to expect. Nalu certainly didn't look like any Raichu they had seen before, and the idea of trying to sort out what was different outside of looks didn't seem like a particularly fun one.

"...nope?"

"Fetch'd."

"Nope. Attack Nalu!" Amaranth called at once, her Farfetch'd rushing to Slash at Nalu without a second thought.

Keiko also had to cover her eyes when Nalu evolved, and was similarly confused by the result. After a quick scan via the SNAG's Pokedex feature and seeing Nalu's new subtype, opportunity seemed to knock. "Hera! Now's our... chance. Crap.

As it turned out, while Keiko was being nearly blinded, Hera passed out from her injuries. That she survived this long was surprising, but the little bug was tough, to be sure. Keiko sighed as she recalled Hera, replacing the Heracross with Keiko's only viable option at this point. "Go, Audrey!"

"Au!" the Audino cooed as she was released from her ball. With Audrey out, Keiko looked up at Nalu. She didn't like having to gang up on Reno, but Nalu was the only thing keeping Keiko from using Natalia, Since both Amaranth and Tristen were keeping her from using Cutie and neither of the rest of her team was old enough to fight at all, regardless of what Togen thinks of himself. "Give Reno a taste of his own medicine! Use Double-Edge on that Raichu!" Keiko said, assuming that Audrey wouldn't be able to recognize Nalu since she hadn't seen him since he was a Pichu.

Audrey bum rushed Nalu, leaping into the air before diving at him with the intent of having both her weight and her inertia work against him, her entire body soaked in Normal-type damage so she'd deal damage no matter what part of her body struck.

With Tristen seeing the bunch crowd in on the newly evolved Raichu, the boy found the perfect opportunity to strike and perhaps take out the bunch at the same time. Unfortunately, Tristen was then left to wonder if the dragon would be able to pull it off with the paralysis ready to hold the dragon in its tracks at any time. He had to take the chance while the opportunity was there. "Dragonite, Hyper Beam!" Tristen shouted.

The Dragonite dug his feet into the ground to brace itself, then with what it had, unleashed a mighty blast in the crowd before it, aiming primarily at the Raichu, but hoping anyone was unfortunate enough to be in the way, if not get caught up in the resulting blast.

Either way, with me spectating the fight, I had to back away a little further from the ring...not even I want to get caught up in that mess.

(1-5 failure, 6 and higher success)

Reno began to stare at the other Snagems for a moment, a slight twitch to his eye as he watched the entire field spontaneously turn on its heel to go ahead and beat on his newly evolved....thing. Goddamnit, why he did he want to help motivate them to fight when it ended in things like this? And it was at that moment he realized that one of the fighters was preparing something a little bigger than usual. "Nalu, roll with the Slash! Get out of there!" Reno commanded, watching as the floating Raichu-thing simply took the attack and bounced away from the Farfetch'd towards where the Audino was crashing down with a Double Edge. "Uh...Do something to lessen the impact?" Reno questionably told the Pokemon, expecting a Quick Attack to propel the Pokemon into the Audino before it could fall any farther.

When a pulse of pink energy erupted from the Raichu-chibi and slammed into the Audino to damage and slow it down, Reno found himself even more baffled. What sort of abomination had he created? Is THIS what happened when you ate too many malasadas!? Screw it, they had a Hyper Beam to contend with and...oh it was aimed to hit him if it missed. Glorious. Taking the initiative and diving into the ring, Reno would slam a powerful kick into Nalu to get the psychic using abomination moving before he slid to the ground and began to fly across the battlefield in a mock power slide. To anyone actually observing, they would see a strange phenomenon occurring beneath Reno's knees as it seemed a psychic....hoverboard had formed beneath the Snagem and was keeping him moving forward from his Hyper Beam dodge. "That is it, Sparky! Don't care if Chilly Willy won't like it, I'm kicking your head for that stunt!" Reno shouted as he continued towards Tristan's corner.
