While Gin wasn’t used to getting ‘checked out’, he knew that given the way that the girl with pink hair was eyeing him, that she was interested in him. Blushing a little, he looked to Leo as she stepped up and slipped her arm through his, distracting him from the girl for a few moments. This was not normal behavior for Leo either and he knew not to get too close to her – Leon would not like another male’s scent on his female. But, she was the Professor and there was no getting around the fact that she was going to do what she wanted.

Once outdoors, Gin looked to the pink haired girl and blushed a little more. She stretched while she questioned him about the agenda for the day. Gin had a game in mind, something that would be fun, but also combat related. “We’re going to play a game…” Gin said with a wolfish grin. Glancing at Leo, he gave her a wink. “One that shifters are pretty familiar with. We call it ‘grapple tag’. It’s like traditional tag, but instead of just touching your hand on someone to tag them, you have to grapple them to the ground, then that person is it until they grapple another person to the ground.”

Hearing Leo’s request for the students to introduce themselves, Gin huffed a bit, wanting to skip past the usual ‘first day of class’ stuff that every student hated doing. Rolling his eyes a little, he crossed his arms over his mostly bare chest and waited for the students to go one by one. By the time Camilla, the pink haired girl beside him, finished introducing herself, Gin had had enough.

Giving her a smirk, he reaching up to remove his hood, tossing it aside, he held up his hands. “Alright, I think that’s enough chit chat, this is combat class, we can get to know each other after we have some fun.” Gin said, rubbing his hands together with an evil look in his eyes. “Now here’s the game. Everyone, at least I hope, knows how to play tag. Now, unlike the game you’re used to, this is going to be much more hands on. To tag someone else, you have to grapple them into the submissive position, much like you would if you were wrestling. Now, the goal isn’t to hurt one another, so don’t be too rough, okay? This is about having fun, getting dirty and learning a little bit about basic combat.”

Making sure everyone understood, he took a few steps back from everyone. “Alright…let’s begin. Leo? Why don’t you start us off and choose who’s ‘it’ first.” That being said, he put some distance between himself and the other students, not wanting to make it too easy for them.

Nora watched as the other girl from class introduced herself, somewhat awe-inspired. "Woah," she blinked. "She's so formal. Is that what citizens of Valor are like? I wonder what her raiment is... why's she hiding it?" The way she said it sounded a little cocky to Nora, but Camilla seemed powerful enough to back that statement up from how confident she looked. Nora let out a small huff, feeling slightly less confident in her abilities, but she probably wouldn't be put up against her in a battle since Nora was only a first-year student.

Once Camilla was done introducing herself, Gin cut in and began explaining a game they'd be playing. Hand-to-hand combat wasn't exacting Nora's forte, but that was the reason she decided to take this class in the first place. "If I'm in a dire situation I'll use my raiment, but only to distract people to maybe confuse them." She vowed to herself and she began backing away to give herself a good distance from everyone else in case someone near her was deemed 'it'. As she looked around at her classmates, she noticed the white-haired girl from her class yesterday along with some other people she didn't recognize. She could only wonder what these people were capable of, but she probably didn't have to wait long once the game started.

Luckily, Jace had a neutral response on Eko’s choice of elective, saying it was simply interesting and offering to join him his next class. Like Eko, Jace had no prior experience with combat. However, expecting the Enhancer to guide him was a bit much, and Eko’s heart rate picked up slightly. Though, Jace was smiling, and seemed excited. This seemed to be contagious, as the corners of Eko’s mouth pulled up slightly, too.

His roommate then stood up, explaining he had business to attend to. Nodding slightly, Eko expected him to go now, but Jace then complimented his bird. That caused a slight pink to dust the Enhancer’s cheeks, looking down at the bird. After tidying himself, Jace left, and Eko was left alone.

The Enhancer got up, setting Coco down softly on the bed before entering the bathroom to change and wash his face, also making sure to appear presentable in general. Though, his eyes were still somewhat red and bags still were prominent underneath. Wearing just his usual clothes, Eko headed out into the hall.

[Exit Eko to Beginner’s Combat]

Walking through the halls, Eko eventually made it to his class, heart rate already higher than normal. Several people were heading to class too, and he calmed himself (or, attempted to) before slightly opening the door. Some other students and, presumably, the professor were heading out to the Training Grounds.

Eko looked around, eyes darting around out of control. Everything wasn’t new, though, he’d been here before. He closed his eyes, using his sense of touch to feel around to the doorway. The Enhancer was able to hear everyone introduce themselves outside, and decided he would stay quiet and pretend he hadn’t heard.

Finally, Eko entered the Training Grounds to listen to a devilish voice explaining a game somewhat like tag. He barely slipped in, glancing around at everyone and becoming familiar with the Training Grounds. However, his raiment still managed to force his breaths to be quicker, and he stared up at the sky, which was quite clear.

After hearing the instructions, Eko closed his eyes, wondering how it’d work out. He had run from his home several times to the forest, so he knew he was quite fast. And, he had reflexes at fairly fast speeds, from what he could tell. For this game, he would have to trust himself. Everything would likely overwhelm him, his senses each demanded to take in all they could, but it could be useful. Eko was shaking slightly, hoping he wouldn’t be chosen as ‘it.’ Also, the TA scared him, big, tough and seemingly mean.

the Book of Demons. A classic literature that Nanashi would always love reading again and again, which were filled with stories of many encounters with other worldly beings. One of his favorite, being a creature known to suck the life force of others to keep themselves looking young. Nanashi always loved reading books like these on the tree tops, as it would make him think of what it would be like to experience life through the eyes of these spirits or myths. Still, all that seemed to just be fake, as Nanashi would only care about escaping himself briefly just to take in a relaxing new vibrant energy of a brand new experience. His favorite, being the beginning of combat class. Of course, Nanashi would know already the basics of combat due to his extensive training, but he didn't feel like showing it off against others unless it was Ivar himself. It was still sad that he's gone to Valor. Finishing up a chapter in his book, Nanashi would basically start the next one after which spoke of the story of an ogre like being with horns who would eat people whole as snacks.

Leaping from tree branch to tree branch, Nanashi seemed to have been making very accurate and careful jumps and swings as he would keep his eyes on his book. Mastering this sort of travel was always Nanashi's forte in Khosbaina, so reading while leaping wasn't new to him. As he would near the building tops, Nanashi would stand by the roof of the building before quietly leaping into the training grounds as silently as it was humanly possible to keep himself from being noticed. Still, it surprised him that Gin would be an assistant to Leonora, who was Jesse's boss over the summer. He liked her, the way she did, seeing Leo as an older sister. It was still nice to know this. Gin on the other hand, he could do without a guy 1'who's temper is as short as his lack of clothes," As Nanashi once said about Gin when he was still a student. Still, he always did want to test his full skills against Gin like he did with Ivar. While in the back hidden in plain sight, Nanashi heard of the exercise that Gin planned, which was a common wrestle with eachother only to submission. That seemed like a good enough exercise for them. Nanashi pondered, and gave off a shrug before closing his book, passing his way through the others. So what happens to the one who wins, if I may ask? Nanashi asked, as he would put his book back in the holster.

Bringing up the rear of the party, Tala would remain just on the edge of the group - which had grown in number during the walk over - observing quietly as the students started to stretch and prepare for whatever their tutor had in store for them...

Camilla once again seemed eager to get started, The Shadowmancer had already noted that she would perhaps prove a bit of an issue as a challenger - the sort of 'Swift-Kill' still resonating in his mind... As Leo appeared to start the lesson, asking the students about their names and aspirations for the future, Tala once again kept his distance, waiting for the others to start before knowing he would eventually have to give his own details...not that he really had much to look forward to after graduation - if he made it that far?

A young male by the name of Xeid was the first to introduce himself - he seemed a little uncertain of himself, his voice quaking a little as he stammered out a reply... In the back of his mind, Tala couldn't help but feel he was perhaps being a little foolish, feeling quite afraid himself, but the Shadowmancer's anxiety was for another matter and of that he was certain...

His eyes would next settle upon the female he'd 'left' the day before... Tala still felt bad about that, but with Physical Contact pretty much a no-no, he'd let his anxieties get the better of him and chosen to flee from the moment, rather than apologise and explain why he'd reacted... Perhaps he'd get the opportunity to do so that day? He would watch as she started to pat herself down, tilting his head as she pulled a piece of paper from her pocket before advancing towards Leo...It was in that moment that he realised perhaps why she might just have been exchanging notes the other day? What a fool he'd been...What would she have thought of him? He would narrow his eyes at his inability to recognise that she was perhaps incapable of speech, before glancing away...

As Camilla introduced herself, Tala once again realised why she was perhaps the last person he wanted to challenge... The fact she would need to either be forced, or instructed to use her raiment was one thing, but her aspirations to make her own Combat School as well... He wasn't sure if the others had introduced themselves as Gin's next words would set him on edge and wipe any thoughts of introduction from his mind...

"Grapple Tag...?" Tala's eyes would widen - That was the last thing he wanted to hear... the Wolf's explanation made him that little bit more nervous and the male's eyes would quickly take a moment to count numbers - just incase there was an odd number...which upon deduction... he felt a sudden wash of relief as he counted 6 students - not including himself! Maybe there was a chance he'd be able to sit this one out?

Leo felt Gin remove himself from her but he was her little pup. Her motherly instincts wanted her to think of him as her own child. But even she knew she wasn't much older than him. Her pup was growing into a fine young man. She was a bit distracted but soon she had snapped from it when she had heard him mention, a game shifters were used to playing. She tilted her head as she had never heard of this game. She had taken a seat in the shade as she would be watching since she gets a bit too competitive for children. She listened to his explanation as she realized her and Rey use to play that as kids.

Of course, she never knew the name of it. She had smiled remembering how rough they had gotten during the grappling part. She brought a hand to her mouth as she chuckled. The thought was a wonderful one she had in childhood before everything went dark. She did need to make a day to go and see Rey. She had to share the news of her ceremony. The thought of telling him after what happened to his to be mate broke her heart. She had not been in contact with him for a while now. She soon snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Gin. Her ears were laying flat as she smiled.

She looked between the students as she pointed to one. She did need to teach her pup some manners. She didn't know half of their names now. She was pointing at Xeih. "I pick that one. Since chit chat was called off I don't know names. A certain pup needs some manners." She tried her best to act as if she was mad but it came off more comical than anything. Her tail swished in an angry way. She would like an apology later but she knew she would need to also ask Gin for something very important. To even break the news about her ceremony with him. She really didn't have anyone to tell. Leo then thought of something as she glanced up and made her voice loud.

"Also there are to be no raiments used during this exercise or any other in the future. This is a combat class and in it, you will learn to use your hands and weapons. Raiments are nice but everyone can use them. So this is a more hand to hand course. Just so you know." She said as she leaned back against the tree.

There was quite a bit of students around now. This fueled Xeih's anxiety a little bit, making him worry about what the rest of the day would entail with this many people in the class. There were a few people that exuded more confidence than the rest, which was quite intimidating for Xeih. He started to fiddle with his scarf more, hoping that no one would take too much of a notice towards him. There were other classmates though that bore more of a introverted nature, which made Xeih feel a tiny bit more at ease since he wasn't the only one who didn't like interacting with people much. Signing, Xeih awaited for the conversation to continue.

When the TA spoke of the game they were going to play, Xeih took a sudden breath in as he felt his heart stop suddenly. Taking a step back, he started to quiver. Xeih wasn't expecting a game where they were going to be tackling each other. Xeih has never tackled anyone in his life, let alone be tackled. He was hoping to be able to study something today, given a resource or explanation on how to fight. Not... a game about tackling. He understood how this could be tied in to learn basics of "fighting", but to Xeih, this wasn't a good use of time. Why play a game the first day when he has zero fighting skills? Xeih already knew that he would already be at a disadvantage, but this seemed a little unfair to him. This doesn't help him get comfortable with the whole "fighting" thing.

And suddenly, the world seemed to freeze at that moment, and the only thing Xeih could feel was his heart pounding on his ribcage like it's trying to escape and run away. When the professor pointed at Xeih to be it first, every fear Xeih had flooded his mind. His inner voices telling him that he's going to make a fool of himself, and that he should just give up on ever achieving anything again. Does he just start running? No matter how much he wanted to, Xeih's legs were frozen. His head looked down, he could feel everyone's eyes watching him, insulting him. Still shaking, Xeih grabbed his scarf and held it to his face, shaking his head violently, trying to make the inner voices leave. Then suddenly, and miraculously, he heard another voice interrupt the situation at hand...

"WE BROUGHT MUFFINS!~"Sokea sang in his soft voice as he held two of said muffins in each hand, holding them in the air above his head. Walking with the rest of his advanced combat class, they made there way into the training grounds. Sokea bopped up and down in place pretending to look around at everyone. Sokea heard their professor say something about someone being it, so the albino boy will do his best to tag everyone he can. He handed one of the muffins back to Gia. And took a bite out of the one he kept.

Sokea continued to bop up and down in place, continuing to pretend to look at everyone, although his eyes weren't moving, only his head was. He felt that there were multiple people in the area, due to the shifting of peoples feet, but he couldn't pin point how many. Maybe he should train himself how to do that one day. But now, he wanted to have some fun the beginner student's. "A game of tag huh, and I heard something about not using raiments?" Sokea smiled and tilted his head. This was his version of a good first impression, not that he cared about first impressions anyway. He just wanted everyone to be in a slightly better mood than they were already in. Sokea was unaware of a certain person that was there.

Stretching his free arm, Sokea took another bite out of the muffin. Sokea's raiment was quite useful in engaging his opponent and disabling them, but being blind wasn't really a burden to the already blind boy. Sokea paused for a moment, took in the sounds of his environment. As he finished chewing, he held his head upwards, as if he was directly staring at the sun. "You know... I find being able to see be quite... blinding" Sokea smiled once more, and held his head forward towards everyone else. "I'm it." Muffin still in hand, he ran towards the group of students. Reaching his arm out, he felt someone who seemed to be in a panicked state, but Sokea didn't know that. After a hard pat on their back Sokea giggled as he skipped away. The person he happened to tag, was Eko.

Nanashi Kuzunoha – not his favorite person and someone who tended to annoy him more than anything. Hearing the boy’s question, Gin rolled his eyes. “This is TAG, Nanashi. Maybe if you were listening instead of slinking around, you’d have caught that.” Yeah, it wasn’t the politest answer, especially coming from someone who was going to be the TA for the year, but he really didn’t care. If the kid was going to show up late to class and ask stupid questions, then he was going to get some attitude.

“This is a free-for-all. If you get tackled, grappled, taken to the ground, put into a submissive hold, or double touched with both hands planted firmly on your person, you are ’it. No tag backs, no opting out. If anyone doesn’t want to participate, they can find another elective class to take because this class is going to be very hands on. This game is only a mild example of what will be happening in this class day to day – a preview if you will...” Gin said as he looked to each of the students, some of which looked very apprehensive about playing this game. But that was the point – to weed out anyone that wouldn’t want to be in the class. The best time to do that was on the first day when there was still time for them to find a different elective for the year. Combat classes weren’t for everyone and if a student wasn’t serious about participating, for whatever reason, then they should leave while they could.

As Leo picked the first person to be ‘it’, a petite boy by the name of Xeih, and someone who looked like he’d just been given a death sentence, Gin surveyed the other students. Leo’s announcement that no raiments would be utilized in the class surprised him, but maybe he could convince her that the second semester could be used for raiment combat, since Gia’s advanced class primarily fought using raiments.

    WE BROUGHT MUFFINS~!”

In any case, Gin’s thoughts were derailed when a certain chipper tone reached his ears and made his heart stop and his world shatter. His perked-up ears immediately flattened against his head and his tail fell. Frozen in place, eyes wide, he didn’t even blink, he hardly breathed. Ears straining, he told himself that he’d just imagined the voice, a voice that he hadn’t heard in months and thought he’d never hear again…

“A game of tag huh, and I heard something about not using raiments?”

As the voice came a second time, from a ways to the side and behind him, out of his line of sight, Gin felt a stabbing pain in his chest. Raising his hand, he rubbed at the area over his heart, his fingertips digging into his skin as he tried to slowly and firmly press the pain back down. The happiness in that tone, the chipper nature, the impression that everything was rosy and bright…it lashed at Gin like a razor-wired whip.

“You know…I find being able to see to be quite…blinding.”

There was no doubt in his mind who stood just out of his line of sight. And as the petite male ran forward toward the other students, Gin’s eyes, despite any internal protest, darted up and locked onto his form. Sokea Heikkinen had returned to the Academy. Gin hadn’t thought he’d ever see the boy again, or at least not for a very, very, very long time. But no, the Gods hated him and continued to curse him. It always seemed that just when things were going well in his life, something or someone came along to ruin it.

A well of emotions bubbled up inside of Gin at the sight of the albino boy, who smiled and laughed like nothing had ever happened. As the shock and numbness wore off he felt sorrow, anger, pain, betrayal, shock, disbelief. He didn’t know which emotion to latch onto, so he let them all flow through him. The hand rubbing his chest balled into a fist, a fist that he used to smack his chest, hard. Grinding his teeth, gaze narrowed, his nearly growled as his gaze moved from Sokea to Gianna, his mother. How could she? She knew how hurt he still was over Sokea. She knew what seeing him would do to him….and yet she hadnt given him a warning. No, it didn’t even seem like she’d given Sokea an earful either, given the male’s chipper attitude. No…she’d betrayed his trust and brought the one person who’d ripped his heart out and stomped on it back into his life.

Tearing his gaze away from her, he moved away from the students and toward the tree that Leonora sat against. Without a word, he leapt up and climbed into the branches, going as high as he could to observe the game from above. The one thing he truly wanted to do was run away from all of this, but his responsibility as Leonora’s TA gave him no choice – he couldn’t abandon his duties on the first day. Thus, Gin, royally pissed off, sat up in the boughs of the tree and looked down on the training grounds silently. This game would prove to be more interesting than he’d anticipated and not for the right reasons…He just hoped it would be over soon.

Leonora glanced up from her book as she looked at this male walking over with muffins. Her eyes then looked at Gin as he seemed to have changed. Why was he being like this? She soon watched as he climbed into the tree. She closed her book as she stood up. She began to dust herself off as she climbed into the tree. Her arms wrapped around Gin as she gave him a kiss on the forehead. She looked at him with her heterochromia eyes as she held him close. She was showing some motherly instincts as she held him. She pulled him as close as she could.

She will deal with Leon's wrath later. Right now her pup needed her. "Gin what is the matter? Where is the confidence you had earlier?" She was still watching her students as she raised a brow. Her hands rubbing Gin's ears as she tried to help him feel better. She wanted to ask him some important stuff but this was not going to happen. "Gin would you like to come home with me and I can make you a meal?" She wanted to go home since she was still not feeling well but she forced herself to get up out of bed this morning.

Tala Maxwell // Eko Lassila (Duo Post)

The Enhancer gasped slightly at the instructor mentioning no raiments would be used. He couldn't turn his off, nor explain that. Eko still had his eyes closed, backed against the wall. The boy was trembling, completely overwhelmed with the prospect of even opening his mouth in front of these people.

To make matters worse, a cheerful singsong voice shouted suddenly, announcing that they'd... brought muffins? Anyways, Eko jumped, hard, still frozen in place. His eyes opened for a split second, seeing a white haired boy eating a muffin. The boy was rather odd, though, looking around at everyone without moving his eyes. Eko's sharp vision could see his pupils weren't black, either, which was odd. He glanced at the other students, breathing heavy as he was overwhelmed with faces.

Tala watched as Sokea advanced towards the group, clearly there was no escaping this and he stiffened in the realisation before taking several swift steps backwards as the Celebrar rushed into the crowd

He closed his eyes again, trying to steady himself. The boy mentioned something about being able to see, but Eko couldn't focus right now. Suddenly, even though the person who's it had been selected, the boy said "I'm it," and ran in the direction of the other students.

It would make sense for the male to hit the centre of the pack - whilst most of the class appeared to spread outwards - like a shoal of fish evading a predator, one individual seemed rather overwhelmed by the aspect of taking part and swiftly found himself the new "it" This brought Tala within range and the Shadowmancer cast a fleeting glance around the retreating students, trying to work out what Eko might do next...

Eko felt a hand tag him, though he'd heard the boy coming, and stumbled forward, eyes flying open. He noticed the instructor and the TA had vanished, though he paid that no mind. Whether students scattered or not, Eko needed to tag someone fast.

Shaking, he looked around, breathing hard. He focused all his energy on one sense. Sound. He closed his eyes, trying to hear everyone and steady out his breathing. After a moment, he opened his eyes. Scanning everyone, his gaze landed on a boy with blonde hair, he faintly remembered him from last year. Still shaking, Eko sprinted toward the boy quickly, not knowing what he'd do once he reached his target.

At first, Tala felt he was safe, the male's trajectory should have sent him towards another student, but as Eko turned, the Shadowmancer felt a prickle rush across his skin, his eyes widening as he realised the male had chosen his target. To the Elementor's surprise, the Enhancer moved with an unexpected speed, closing the gap between them with such a pace that Tala knew collision was inevitable... What could he do? After all, he couldn't use his Raiment...!

Eko continued to run, realizing if the boy didn't dodge that he'd be tackled. Eyes widening, Eko attempted to slow down but realized he had to tackle him, bracing for impact, the Enhancer closed his eyes.

With just seconds to react, Tala decided to try and dodge - hoping a step to his right might just divert an impact but finding to his horror that the Enhancer was just too fast - before he could slide more than a foot to his right, Eko slammed into him, sending the Shadowmancer spiraling to the ground...

Eko stumbled forward upon impact, as his target had tried to dodge and barely did. Eko slowed down, wanting to take a better approach this time. He turned around while the other male was disorientated, jogging back over to him and attempting to place two hands on his target.

A small cloud of dust kicked up as the Shadowmancer landed on his front, rolling onto his side before tensing as he realised just knocking him down wouldn't be the end of it... Sure, Tala had taken hits before, but now dazed from the impact it didn't take long to realise that his assailant now moving in for 'the kill'

It was obviously just a game, but as Eko advanced with both hands out - attempting to place them on his target and make the Elementor 'It' Tala's defensive instincts started to kick in and he too reached out, aiming to catch hold of the Enhancer's wrists and prevent him from connecting.

Eko was surprised that the boy resisted, on the ground, too. Wouldn't he just want to get this over with and be tagged? Anyways, the Enhancer's wrists were grabbed, which took him by surprise. It seemed his target wouldn't let up.

The boy inhales deeply, trying to figure out what to do. He doesn't have much physical power, so he crouches down, ceasing from resisting. He then yanks his hands back, trying to catch his target off guard.

Tala had expected the male to try and pull away from the hold, but was more than a little baffled when he ceased to resist...it was as Eko snatched his hands away that the Shadowmancer realised he might just be in trouble and threw his arms over his face as he braced for impact

Eko's plan worked, but not wanting to hurt his target, he simply held him down with two hands, each on one of his target' shoulders. "Uh... g-got you...?" He says before getting up, quickly running from the boy. He felt kind of bad, but he had to show he wasn't the weakest one...

Gianna led her class toward the training grounds where the beginner combat class was already gathered at. She giggled a bit at Sokea’s enthusiasm as he bopped around with two of the muffins she baked. There was no doubt in her mind that Gin would be upset. While he was fine now, the wound was still fresh. What could she do though? Obviously, she had been angered because Sokea ultimately broke her son’s heart, but overtime she came to realize that she wasn’t in Sokea’s shoes. How did she know that he wanted to leave? You can only allow anger over situations that can’t be helped for so long. Of course, Gin had every right to still be upset over the situation, he got his heart broken. But for her, if Sokea was in her class, he was her student. Her job was to do what she could as a professor to help her students and bond with them. And as she had predicted, Gin seemed beyond angered at her. He looked so betrayed. She did not like that look, but she knew that he must be a mix of emotions. When he tore his gaze away, she sighed softly and shook her head. The female paused as she clenched her jaw. No. She was not going to be the bad guy when this was something that couldn’t be helped. But, if he needed time then so be it.

After making sure her students were faring well with the other class she went to follow Gin. Of course, he was far from her reach as he was up high in sa tree with Leonora. Stomping her foot, the ground below her shot up, creating a pillar made from the ground beneath her, that was at the same level the two shifters were. Walking over to where he was, she had arrived when Leonora offered to him to come home with her. Gianna gave her a smile and a nod before looking at Gin. ”I know you’re angry, upset, heartbroken…but let me get this straight. I didn’t even know he was put back in my class. You can imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw him physically there. Of course, I was worried about how you would feel, but what else was I supposed to do? Run out frantically while I leave my students unattended? Even if I wanted to run out and warn you out of panic and worry, Cathy and Zelda came in late and I needed to get class start as soon as possible. Secondly, he’s in a good mood right now. I know I was upset at him. A part of me still is, but he had issues, Gin. Who am I to go at his throat because he had no choice but to go? And who am I to guilt trip him when he’s had so much going on already. I don’t do the whole “since their already down, drag them down further” thing. I’ve dealt with it a fair amount of times and it doesn’t feel pleasant in the least. Could he have done it in a better way? Absolutely. I know what he wrote to you was definitely heartbreaking. I would be hurt as well. Should he have come to you as lovers should? 100 percent. But he isn’t good with emotions. At least from what I observed. Who else throws a joke speaking about their family issues and the fact that they see things differently. That still doesn’t fully excuse what he wrote to you.”

Gianna’s voice was low since it was none of the other student’s business, but due to Gin’s hearing, she knew that he could hear her regardless. Her expression was that of a mother lecturing her child and trying to help them understand. Her arms were folded, and her jaw was still clenched. There was a certain seriousness in her eyes as well as worry. She was worried for him. Always would be. ”If you’re still angry with me, then go with Leo. That’s fine. Take all the time you need, she’ll take care of you. But know that this isn’t my battle. I am a professor and will not lash out at him because of this situation. I can feel upset and still worry for you, but I can’t let this situation ruin it for all of my students. You can’t let it come between this year either. We’ve agreed to allow both classes to combine more than ever before for their benefit and as a good experience. Are you going to take that away now that he’s back? Or, are you going to be the strong man I know you to be and power through it like you’ve had with anything that comes in your path?”

Griselda kept up with the advanced combat class as they made their way to the training grounds. By the looks of it, they are about to engage in some sort of activity. Sokea, in a not so subtle way, announced their presence as they arrived at the training grounds by shouting that they have muffins. Hopefully, that did not distract anyone from what they were supposed to be doing in class. What are they doing? Sokea mentioned a game of tag and not using raiments. Is that what Gianna wants them to do? She is not sure how this game will teach them combat, but she is not going to question the methods unless they are not working. Then came the tension. She is not sure why, but it was clear which people were involved. Gin had this look on his face as if he does not which emotion to properly emote, but he is leaning towards anger. That is when Gianna intervened and began to attempt to diffuse the situation. They were away from the group so that none of them can hear what they are saying to each other. Griselda is not sure how this is going to end, but there is not much she can do when both instructors of their classes are talking in private. For now, she remained close to Catherine. At least when she is near her, some of her anxiety dissipates.

Hearing Gin's usual response to his question, Nanashi would let off a sigh. He'd probably would just be calm and focused and try not to start any unnecessary issues with others. Yet still, Gin has a reputation for getting on people's bad side to a complete degree. If anything, he'd just let it go. But Nanashi had too much pride for that. The game would continue on behind him, as people began running around, some were acting like kids chasing and playing with eachother instead of legitimately showing their combat skills or anything of that sort. It wasn't that it was a bad thing, but it seemed unorthodox to Nanashi, as he was raised where fighting was law. Yet still, these students were normal teens who hadn't really experienced the type of things certain students with emotional experiences had ever possibly have before. They were all normal, and Nanashi wasn't. After hearing what Gin said right after the anger filled explanation, it somewhat tipped Nanashi over a bit. Alright, a*****e, first of all, I-- Huh? Nanashi would then hear a guy with white hair and very pale skin, as well as red eyes come up with cupcakes. The way that male moved, seemed pretty off though, but he had no clue about it. Turning back around, he saw that Gin's demeanor completely changed into somewhat shock and anger. Nanashi had no clue of the whole story, so he would let off a sigh and just leave it all. There's no point in sticking his nose in others businesses. Even if they happen to be his teacher. Anyway, whatever... Nanashi would shrug as he would jog off towards the swarm of kids playing around. It seemed after what happened completely, Eko was it, and he seemed somewhat even more timid than the first time Nanashi was here last year. Either way, he was caught up and joined in. Now despite all odds against him, it seemed that Eko went and "tagged" someone. Nanashi always figured the guy couldn't even made as much as contact with anyone. Still, Nanashi stood in the grounds waiting for the one "It" to even try to go after him.
