Requiem of Whyspers

(Characters involved: Keiko, Darts, Night, Lykas and Crystal.)

Keiko acted first, the Lopunny hybrid dashing forward and using her springy legs to bounce over the incoming Power Gem protected Electro Ball sphere. As she sailed over it an Aura Sphere fired off by Lykas' Clawitzer slammed into the Power Gem coating, the bunny girl not only hearing the hard impact but feeling the vibrations from it as she passed over. Once over the sphere of combined attacks she would come down on the 'Magniqueen' and slug it hard with a Frustration empowered punch followed by several more punches and kicks, landing on the ground each time and bounding back up to keep up the assault. The mutant Vespiquen was taken by surprise by the sudden attack however after a few punches and kicks it would retaliate by exploding a few miniature Magnemite drones against her to repel her away. However one problem was soon replaced by another.

But seconds after Keiko was pushed away Night came running up, the crazed Ninetales hybrid unleashing a barrage of Fire Blast at her, leaping up to replace where Keiko once was. The Vespiquen tried to shield herself with a Defend Order but her minimites were too few to make a proper shield and were destroyed after the first hit of Fire Blast, the subsequent ones slamming into the mutant queen as she let out a metallic buzzing cry of pain. In a desperate attempt to make it stop the queen would turn to face Night and unleash from her eyes a bright flash of Confuse Ray. This too would be a mistake.

As the queen gazed upon Night, and whether or not she was successful in making the mad hybrid stop, she would catch a glimpse of Keiko who was still in her line of sight after having repelled her. It was in that brief moment when Darts' Gengar rose up from behind Keiko and locked eyes with the magniqueen who quickly realized the repercussions of meeting its stare but even then she was too late. Gengar's hypnotic suggestions would prove too powerful for the already weakened mutated Beehive Pokemon, the queen quickly falling prey to said manipulates as she let out one last feeble buzz before simply falling to the ground unceremoniously. There the once hellish queen would slumber, her own exhaustion making sure her sleep was a deep one. She would bother them no more for now.

While the others took care of the queen two more Snagems focused on the attack still coming at them. Crystal and Aile would note that the earlier Aura Sphere was not in vein, the attack putting a track in the Power Gem outer layer of the sphere. Demon Wing would hurl Eisley with fierce strength directly for the crack in the Power Gem sphere, Eisley spiraling right for it. The Excadrill would Horn Drill right through the Power Gem with surprising ease, though surely aiming for its cracked surface and with Demon Wing's assistance it made that much easier.

With the Power Gem shattered in spectacular, and almost dazzling fashion, Demon Wing would unleash a powerful searing hot blast of fire with Blast Burn, the ball of near white-hot fire colliding with the exposed Electro Ball. Instantly, upon impact, the two attacks, along with the mutant Magnemite ready to explode inside, would create a massive explosion of electricity and fire, the explosion rocking the room they found themselves in. The Snagems were sparred the full force of the attack but some might be effected by the intense hit and sheer force of the tremendous explosion. After the explosion went off charred and defeated minimites would go flying all over the place, the last of the queen's forces dispatched.

After the dust settled from the explosion the room would go quiet, metal bodies of once loyal drones scattered around them slumbering queen. Its hive above was still sealed away by the Fairy Lock but a sharp Snagem might realize that eventually it would fade away and perhaps it should be dealt with for good. Same goes for the dreaming mutant queen. Regardless, their enemies were defeated and now the elevator going up was free to use. Now they just hoped the others activated the switches.

Keiko froze mid-barrage as a fuzzy object snapped against her tail, filling her body with a mixture of pain and pleasure that rendered her unable to move for just long enough to get knocked back by the exploding Magnemite drones. Her landing wasn't a pleasant one, but she wasn't so hurt that she couldn't get back up. She clenched her fists once she was on her feet, but she quickly noticed that her opponent was down for the count, but whether it had fainted or been put to sleep, she couldn't tell, although the lingering Psychic-type energy gave her an idea.

Regardless, she was free to enter the elevator with the others, although she couldn't help but wonder if Abby was okay, as the adolescent Deathrage had gone through one of the doors on the right.

Ulla was running out of ideas. She was getting desperate, her hand started to shake slightly feeling like there was only one option. "Master! Calm your thoughts!" Lucario shouted to her as he was still out on the battlefield. He watched the other Lucario and Rioulu do some damage but nothing was doing it. "Calm your mind and think! What makes this Rhydon different from the others?!" He shouted as he kept the Rhydon distracted still pummeling him with Metal Claw. Ulla thought about it. What did make this Rhydon different. She looked up to see Blizz still wasn't able to break free from his chains. Could that be it? Ulla looked over to Tristen to see his expression. She was able to confirm it. "Lycanroc get me up there! Use Rock Climb." She shouted as Lycanroc nodded. The dog howled as several different heights of rocks made a stairway up close to Blizz.

"Let's go!" She said as the little girl got on Lycanroc as the door started jumping from one rock to the next. Once the duo made it to the tallest rock. Lycanroc used Rock Climb right under the child as she was launch up to the sky. Ulla started reaching out for Blizzard. "Blizz!" She shouted as a small bubble in her hands. She then hurled it at him. Her plan was to bubble Blizz and expand it so the chains would snap. Her next step would be to heal Blizz as she tapped into her Fairy Pokemon's powers.

The cold winds would send a chill down the Goodra as it continued its course towards Ryan, leaving it feeling slightly sluggish. It did nothing for the odd thing propelling it in the first place, not even slow it down; rather than an acidic, goopy thing coming at him, now it was a cold, acidic goopy thing. A cold, acidic goopy thing that'd hit the icy spear and, though impaled, appeared to be absorbing it into its body for better or worse.

Reno Vantas

This did, however, leave an opening- literally and figuratively- for Leslie as she and Porygon did what any sane hybrid and Pokemon would do: go "nope" at the cold, acidic, goopy thing and shoot it with a Zap Cannon. Along with the spear it was too busy absorbing, the attack would seemingly pierce through the abomination and cause it to roar in response, shocking it to its core and causing its means of propulsion to short out.

TerashiLeonGoken

Though it'd still try struggle through, it'd find itself meeting another gust of chilling winds from Zwei's Glaceon, leaving it an even colder acidic, goopy thing. Having had enough of this onslaught from the group, it'd rear back and start to expel a few globs of acid in front of it; there were too many presences for it to try and single any of them out. An issue that would show itself in further earnest as Abby's Stufful went and did the harshest swing the wannabe plush mimic could muster. The attack would land true thanks to the Goodra being stuck in place for the moment, though parts of its acidic, goopy body would come off onto the Stufful as a result and it'd be seen that this Goodra was a lot... stretchier than one might think as it swung itself in a wide arc at anyone it could hope to reach.

Whoever all these intruders were, it wasn't terribly happy about them or the attacks they were doing when it was trying to keep them away. All it knew otherwise was there was a lot more pain in its life all of a sudden, more than there already was, and it'd like it all to stop.

Ryan was surprised by how tanky this Goodra was. It looked like it was literally falling apart, yet it was still standing after all those attacks landed.

"Alright, Undine. Step it up a notch! Blast it away with Hyper Voice!" Ryan orders.

The Brionne nods at her trainer, takes a deep breath, and screams out it's loudest battle cry. And thanks to it's Liquid Voice, the powerful attack was now water-based.

"Come on, Fluffy, you've got more moves than that!" Abby insisted, covering up her ears with her hands to answer the threat of the looming Hyper Voice. "Why don't you try targeting its weaknesses? Crush it with an Ice Punch!"

While said Stufful didn't much appreciate the human that stole her from her mother telling her what to do, Fluffy agreed that attacking Goodra's weaknesses would end the fight faster and decided on its own to lunge at the semi-liquid dragon, striking at it with Ice Punch.

Zwei howled at the acid bombs, grabbing his pokemon and darting out of the way. "If you guys got 'm...." He calls out, searching, searching....manages to get nearer to the edge of the wall, holding his pokemon tightly to him. The two get a running start and he leaps, twisting his body and rolling as he impacts the ground on the other side of the acid-made hole, only widened by a random bomb. There has to be a lever, or something...he vaguely remembers one of those being mentioned.

Weiss makes a barking noise to him, softly whining as they both drop, the Goodra moving over their lowered forms. When the coast is clear, Zwei puts Weiss down and the two renew their hunt--gotta be something they can do to help!!

~~~~~
Tristen was okay. That was what mattered. Rhyme turns her attention to the Tyrannitar....and her blood runs cold.
That...wasn't Gaia. Gaia didn't have purple fur or a canine snout or long, murderous--
Every bone in her body screamed at her to move and by his second step the Pachirisu hybrids legs bent, arms flung up with the electricity and pokemon-like alertness that she possessed--
And it hurt. Oh god did it hurt. She lets out something that doesn't quite sound like a shout but not a scream either as claws catch cloth, tearing her sweater and catching the flesh and fur of her arm. (Bless that it wasn't her dominant one, but OW). Staggering, blood welling and falling down her arms, Rhyme stares at the pokemon, at Cosmos.
She recognized that look. That Aura.
Joshua had been the same way.
Joshua...oh god...
Her pokemon didn't like the circumstances at all.
Her Grovyle races to her and catches her as her legs give out, keeping her body upright and making a concerned noise. The female hybrid takes a few, deep, shaky breaths, whimpering in the pain as shes pulled to the closest bit of solid ground, the initial stab becoming mellower throbbing as she is shifted.
"H-he's...It wasn't his fault...he's been Shadowed...I-I get it..." She laughs weakly, the touch of her grass type making her hiss in pain. Joshua glares at where Veronica put the Pokeball, upset about the situation. He'd felt that energy. He didn't like it. "I'll...be fine. We gotta...deal....with the Rhydon first...bigger fish to f-fry..." It didn't hurt as much, and she was taking deep breaths. Fighting between....she tears at the sleeve, stripping it from her arm. She then winds it around, what had been a slightly poofier fabric making for more cloth to use as a makeshift bandage for the moment. "
Reno would take a moment as he watched the flurry of blows following his own efforts to essentially Tauros wrestle a goddamned Rhydon into the ground. And it was actually very impressive that things were finally going their way on some of this. But it was hard to keep up that optimism when he saw the Rhydon slowly unleash an Earthquake, rocking him and his Pokemon with this renewed yet again Pokemon. So naturally, Reno decided that it was time for something drastic. And then...he saw as Blizz was beginning to lash out against the thing still keeping him captive. And so Reno decided maybe he should get away before everything tried to explode. And so he dove for cover like he saw a nuke on the horizon, covering his head with his hands as he dove behind one of the rock pillars that they had created along with his Pokemon.
---
Leslie looked at the two other Snagems standing their ground to assault the now immobilized Dragon type in front of them, with her real ire reserved for Abby deciding to physically attack the thing after what had just happened with Zwei's Pokemon Speaking of, Leslie had to duck low and hold Church down with her as she watched the Goodra's body begin swinging around. While she didnt take the physical attack, her required immobility lead to Leslie taking a blast of the acid straight to the face. Screaming out in pain, Leslie would recoil for a moment before gritting her teeth as she felt the acid burning away at her arms. But damnit, these two morons were standing and fighting, so one of them needed to find the switch and she was going to have to be the brave and daring soul to do. And as she thought that, Leslie watched as Zwei dove past the Goodra in order to hunt for the switch. "Damnit! I was supposed to be the hero about this stuff! But fine, go find the switch! Didnt even wanna go running past the thing anyways....." Leslie yelled at Zwei, the embittered griping of the Steel hybrid slowly trailing off as she felt more self-conscious.
Biting her lip, Leslie would decide that she should become part of the problem, and not the solution. Why is that? Well, she was now charging forward with a barbarian-style yell as she swung her second mouth at the Goodra as a steel-hardened club. Thankfully, there was a cooler head behind her in her Porygon. And he was busy running a few calculations before Leslie hit the Dragon type, which eventually lead to the Normal type diving towards the displaced mass of the Goodra from the Ice Punch and Leslie's reckless assault. Which is when the Porygon would tackle the mass as a dark energy amassed around it, the Foul Play attack aiming to use the Goodra's own strength from its own elastic body to wound itself with the snapback. Hopefully that would do as much damage as Church calculated it to do, otherwise this would be an exceptionally weak Foul Play.
---
Aria would finally emerge out of the left door to look towards the mass of Snagems now boarding the elevator, a sheepish look on her face. "Well, guys.....uh........looks like the switch is past the right door. This was a janitor's closet. And I spent way too long in there hoping to find a switch." Aria muttered out as she walked up to the gathered Snagems to join them waiting for the ones past the right door to finish their mission. Hopefully, no one asked her any more hard questions about why exactly she had stayed in the closet so long in order to avoid the massive assault that Vespiquen was unleashing.
As the mass of multi-layered attacks put down the Magniqueen and the minimite drones, Lykas could only heave a heavy sigh and recall Okeanos. Once he was done, however, the minimites would explode. While the concussive force wasn't as powerful against his mostly liquid and partially intangible form, the fire produced along with the kabooms certainly wasn't as easily evaded. Once the bombs had gone off, he reached for another Pokeball. Tossing it out, he'd release Lux from his ball. "Put her out of her misery." He told the Quilava. "Use Lava Plume on her. Then use Eruption on that." he'd direct the Fire-type, pointing at the Magniqueen first, and then the strange hive above that still had the chains from Kaya's Fairy Lock binding it.
"Quil quila va!" Lux replied, grimacing at the appearance of the mutant insect before slamming a foot into the ground and causing a fountain of molten earth and flame to burst from it and consume Magniqueen. After the lava had covered the metallic bug and began to harden, the Volcano Pokemon looked toward the hive on the ceiling and opened his mouth, a massive eruption of flames blasting forth from the creature's open orifice and scorching the minimite nest. Any drones left living inside would find themselves subjected to an incredible increase in tempurature and, by the time the attack let up, no exits left as the external holes essentially melted shut.
"Let's get the ~/~ out of here." Lykas finally decided as Lux's attack came to it's conclusion and he recalled the Fire-type.
~~~

Kaya returned to the lobby alongside Aria. "That was a big janitor's closet." He'd remark sarcastically. "I did find a switch in there, though. It was tucked way in the back and I only found it thanks to Dazzling Gleam providing some light." He admitted to the young woman with a sigh. "Anyway, did anyone that went the other way come back yet or are they still looking?" He asked as he surveyed the devastation caused by the conflict he'd left behind.

~~~
Wren could only watch as the battle continued to unfold, recalling Cassava before he had the chance to absorb the Shadow Virus alongside Rhydon's strength. With the Grass-type returned to it's ball, he would take a moment to think before it counter attacked yet again. Something, somewhere nearby was providing it all this energy. It had to be.
As the Earthquake shook the ground and the floor broke open, he looked around. Something had to trigger a reaction in him, didn't it? He'd been told Channelers and hybrids could sense energy but he'd never been able to do that. What he could do, however, was trust his anxiety. Whenever he was looking at or moving toward something dangerous, he always got a huge spike in that nervous fluttering in his gut.
There! As he looked around, he felt it. The strange nervous butterflies that always made him wary of whatever was causing it. He could't see anything over there but it had to be the cause of all this. Riding the waves of shaking earth, he slammed his open palm into the ground and small vines sprouted from his Artifact, working their way into the ground through the newly-formed cracks.
His consciousness couldn't follow but those vines could definitely obey his will, he had learned. "Find whatever's causing this and stop it!" He told the thorny flora as he continued to grow and snake it's way through the ground. Eventually, they would find the machines and start trying to work their way into the inner workings before they started to grow thicker, attempting to break the machines apart.
(Characters involved: Leon, Sub, Freth, Odd, Terashi, and Beau.)
The Cofagrigus would stare at Odd with its glowing crimson eyes, as if pondering the very existence of the relatively tiny creature that now found its self skewered on one of its arms. To anyone less 'versed in the spiritual realm the Coffin Pokemon's gaze this close up would instill a powerful sense of dread and horror, its eyes reflecting forces and places beyond the realm of mortal comprehension. To Odd however it told him something else, that this was no normal Cofagrigus, as if its size wasn't hint enough. No, this particular one was old, ancient even by the standards of a typical Ghost Pokemon which was usually far older than a human lifespan. There was one more far more startling realization for Odd, being this close; it was drawing power from the Underworld, specifically the Circle of Wrath. Its power would only increase along with its desire of vengeance, towards anyone. Lost in it's turbulent emotions, it can only feel the rage burning inside it, growing ever more powerful with each passing moment. This spirit was completely lost to the darkness. Another victim of Ein's no doubt.
There was no other choice for Odd but to seal it away, and in its current state the Cofagrigus didn't even seem to care that its spiritual form was being dissembled and absorbed into the Odd Keystone, the proper term was 'blind rage'. "Guuuus!" It roared, its vile force seeping into Odd, the Channeler subjected to its Spite before being flung off its arm at Terashi. That was when Reese's Overheat came flying at it, blasting the colossal ghost right in the face. "COFAAA!" The Coffin Pokemon waled as its many arms flung around, slamming onto the ground. The Overheat harmed it however it did worse in that it fueled its anger and thus allowed it to draw even more spectral power. Fortunately Terashi's copies had occupied the mummies for the time being as they tried to attack the fakes and of course failed to do anything.
As the Cofagrigus' form began to unravel like a knitted sweater, a slim string of energy flowing into Odd's Odd Keystone, it continued to fight. It watched as the mummified Griswold tried to attack Absol and Freth but the two proved far too slippery for it as it ended up striking at Double Team fakes. The Coffin Pokemon attempted to aid its minion as it threw a hand down at the ground above Absol and Freth, intending to flatten them however thanks to Nevermore Freth had plenty of warning to get out of the way and thus its smack was in vein and instead it flattened its own mummified Griswold. That was when Absol ran up the arm of the Cofagrigus and slashed it across its face with a powerful Night Slash, the Ghost withdrawing its arms to holds its face as it flailed its body around in pain and agony.
While this went on Beau decided to do something about the mummies. In a suicidal rush he took out the one that stole his Pokemon from him in a fiery manner. Next he quickly turned his attention to the one going after Leon and with the help of his freed Zippo took that one out with a bang as well. The burned butterfly man didn't stop there though, his next targets as dealt a literally explosive kick upon Red Baron's assaulters, taking them out as well with the help of his Pokemon. After all was done and said Beau stood victorious around the charred bandage remains of the mummies, ash and soot all around him with burns up and down his body. They would not reform ever again, not this time. The mummies were defeated. Or were they?
"Tooomb!" The mummified Griswold cried as its two new hands shot up out of the ground beneath Beau, latching onto his ankles. The unwitting minion only pretended to be smooshed by his master and instead retreated into the ground for a sneak attack and deeming Beau to be the most vulnerable it decided to strike out at him. Its head would soon rise up out of the ground, the bandage wrapped head with a Spiritomb's swirly eyes cast upon it would begin to assault Beau with hypnotic suggestions via Hypnosis the moment he looked down to see what had grabbed him. Its plan was clear as it hoped to lull him to sleep or just groggy enough to make him its next victim as the bandages quickly began to creep up Beau's legs. While exhausted and burned the Vivillion hybrid had no choice to keep fighting, he had to fight these suggestions of sleep, as much as he probably wanted to right now, otherwise he would become part of the ghoulish collective inside that mummy suit along with Griswold. There was only way out of this but first he had to summon forth the mental fortitude. This was going to hurt.
"Cofa...gri...gri...GUUUS!" The massive ghost would remove its hands from its face and let out such a powerful and otherworldly scream that it would cause even the most stalwart person or Pokemon to feel a hint of fear and dread in them. Sub looked on as the ghost seemed to be getting bigger, its anger only increasing and this was in spite of the fact that Odd seemed to be sealing it away, though as things were going now if it kept gaining power it would only keep Odd in an endless loop of sealing what he could while it gained more to seal. That was when he took notice of the cut it now had on its face thanks to Absol's Night Slash. It had suffered a burn from the earlier Overheat but quickly healed that damage, the cut from the Night Slash however, which left a slice in that one could see right through, had not been fully healed. It was healing but at a far slower rate. That's when he reached out to Freth through Nevermore.
"Nevermore!" The Murkrow squawked on her shoulder first before it began to mimic Sub's words relayed to her, in her own parrot-like strained speech, via his Raven's Rapping Channeling. "Freth, the more angry it gets the more strength its gaining thus using it to heal its self. I'm sure you noticed it getting bigger. But look, Absol's Night Slash left a wound that is taking much longer to close up. We need to hit it hard, fast, and consecutively to keep it weak enough for Odd to seal and it looks like only Dark moves will do." He informed the hybrid as he released one of his lesser used Pokemon, the Pancham named Tamerlane. He hadn't done normal training with this one but instead focused on Channeling with him thus leading him to performing what he could now.
Freth would feel it coming out Nevermore and seeping into herself as Sub's Channeling with Tamerlane was filtered through the Murkrow to reach Freth. Tamerlane's Glory, a Channeling ability Sub developed specifically to assist his teammates, built upon his Dark Touch. Similar to how a Skill Swap may work Sub was capable of bestowing upon Freth an extra 'ability' akin to Scrappy but with a few more bonuses. A shroud of Dark energy would surround her body, making her feel powerful and confident. The Dark energy would concentrate on any area she desired, her fists or feet for punches and kicks and what not, thus making Normal type moves Dark type moves and giving them extra power despite not being a Dark type hybrid herself. It was clear what Sub wanted her to do. Who ever said you can't punch a ghost?
While she still had a job to help Freth see where the Cofagrigus was attacking from along with her copes Nevermore wasn't going to sit back and do nothing else as she unleashed a Dark Pulse from perched upon the hybrid's shoulder, hoping to get this pan started. Soon Freth would need her new points of view if she was going to get in close to the Cofagrigus.
As if making sure that the Snagems hadn't forgotten about it the Cofagrigus would go on the attack again, splitting its four arms each in half to create eight, then doing it again to create sixteen. As each new pair was formed it would punch down at the Snagems with a flurry of Astonish punches, screaming and shouting with each gigantic punch. They had it against the ropes and now it was desperate. If the could stop its growth and recovering long enough for Odd to completely seal away then this would all be over with.
Tamerlane the Pancham wouldn't hang back as it watched the fists come at the Snagems and once one was on the ground the little Pancham would pounce on it and bite down on the giant wrist with a Crunch attack. Brave little guy.
I watched as Confagrigus brushed off Reese's Overheat like it was nothing only to take significant damage from Absol's Night Slash. Deciding a change of tactics was in order, I recalled Reese and let Angeal out of his ball. "The enemy only takes damage from Dark-type moves, so pummel it with Night Slash," I ordered.
"Righ-o! One portion of derriere suffering, coming right up!" Angeal jeered, rushing at the ancient ghost with Dark-type energy crackling in his powerful talons. My attention was caught elsewhere, however, as a Griswold caught hold of a very burned butterfly man. I rushed at the two, leaving behind a few extra Psion Split copies as I went, only to poke a hole into the Griswold with a Psychic energy sword - Brunor's Psycho Cut via Psion Edge. I couldn't guarantee this would make the enemy release its hold on Beau, but I had to hope it would draw its attention toward me.
As the Confagrigus continued to stand its ground and for whatever reason started to grow in size the longer the fight drags on, despite taking one devastating blow after the next, Freth started to stare in confusion for only a few seconds. "We can't honestly keep fighting this thing all day." Freth said, agitation present. As she quickly assessed the situation, she realized that with how the ghost was recovering, there was going to come to a point where the damage from the likes of the various dark type attacks that was being unleashed upon it was going to be overtaken by how the ghost was recovering. The fight had to be stopped now.
When the Murkrow brought to Freth's attention just the extent of Absol's attack, she had a realization. She had a weakness to exploit the hell out of. A proverbial c***k in the armor of this ghost. As she started to plan the next attack, she gets somewhat distracted by what was rushing over her. She raised her hand in front of her...and then she realized. She had her ending.
"Absol! Go on ahead of me. We're finishing this!" She said.
"Absol!" The Absol barked back then rushed ahead with her tailing her white-furred companion. She ended up having to dance about the attacks that was coming after her as did the Absol in pure desperation of trying to finish this fight. "Absol! Full speed ahead! Foul Play!" she shouted.
The Absol rushed in farther ahead of Freth, claws lighting up with more ebony power and diving right into the Confagrigus, eventually kicking off of the mummy Pokemon and leaving a clear target for Freth to strike. "Blasted ghost!" She shouted leaping up and drawing her fist back, the power gained from Sub collecting right into Freth's fist. "FALL!" She shouted, driving her fist forward in, up to that point, a rather unprecedented Frustration attack.
Odd stared directly into Cofagrigus' eyes as it glared at him, it's gaze piercing into the very pit of his own soul. Though no words were exchanged between the two, Odd learned all he needed to from the images flashing just behind his eyes. This thing so old it couldn't even be properly called a Pokemon. It was from back in the ancient era when they hadn't even yet begun to be called "magical creatures" by humans. More importantly, it was tied directly into the Otherworld. It seemed to be drawing it's power from the nine circles. Sensing it's profound rage boiling within it, he assumed it must be Wrath fueling it. He had yet to finish that circle, personally, but he knew what happened when a creature was tethered directly to a Circle of Hell. It would only grow stronger the longer this battle lasted and the angrier it became at them.
As Cofagrgus inflicted upon him it's immense anger, withering his energy by magnitudes as it did, and then threw him across the room, he struggled to maintain the Aberrant Exorcism attempting to seal the spirit within his Odd Keystone. Bouncing off the floor as he hit with a solid, muted "thud" of flesh striking steel and/or stone before he slid to a stop at Terashi's feet only a moment before the other Channeler dashed off to Beau's rescue. Looking over to Baroque, he grunted softly and recalled his Cofagrigus to his ball. Tossing out another Dusk Ball, however, he would release his most recent acquisition, or re-acquisition, rather.
"R-Remix... Use Shadow Bone!" He told the Alolan Marowak as it appeared, pointing to the still-growing Cofagrigus. The Alolan Bone Keeper nodded and, spinning it's flaming bone around elegantly, he threw the emerald flames across the room. Where they struck the ground, shadowy, skeletal figures rose up from the flames and began to attack the unshackled Coffin Pokemon with "swords" of bone infused with cursed spiritual energy. Should the attack work, Cofagrigus' defenses should be reduced and it should be easier to both damage it and for Odd to complete sealing the beastly soul. The Odd Keystone in the Ghost Channeler's possession was glowing with a strange blue and gold energy rather than the traditional purple as it was filled with Cofagrigus' unraveling soul.
Leon watched as more arms came at him as he was able to dodge one that tried to sweep him. Unfortunately, he fell short on the second attack as it sent him flying into Ter. He was able to stop himself by stabbing his kunai in the ground as he looked at Cofagrigus as he started to grow out more arms. The lazy poison channeler sighed. "Why can't this thing just give up." He said as he returned his Alolan Vulpix and pulled out another Pokeball. "Pyroar lets set him on fire." He said as the lion stood beside his trainer glaring at the Cofarious. He got on the Pyroar as he felt something in his throat. "Use F-Flamethrower." He said as he now started to hold his breath.
Pyroar started charging at the Cofarigus as he let loose a Flamethrower. As he did that, Leon opened his mouth as a gas started coming out emitting the Flamethrower to be much larger than it should. "Use Crunch Pyroar!" He shouted as the lion's jaw open wide as he was ride to take a chunk out of Cofargrigus.
Beau felt himself collapse under the sudden grabbing motion of Griswold forced the severely burned and in pain beau to collapse to the floor and be forced to stare into the Spiritomb's eyes as it attempted to use Hypnosis and force Beau into a comatose state. Which would have been effective in most circumstances. Except having a person who is basically still on fire and in unbelievable pain try and convince himself to go to sleep was about as effective as putting out a fire through liberal doses of gasoline. To be fair, Beau was barely able to move his limbs due to the effects of the hypnotic suggestion but damnit, he was still mentally there. So now he needed something to interrupt the hypnotic message for a moment before he ended up swallowed into a bandage hell. Thankfully, he had such an interruption coming in the form of a quick jab by Terashi with a Psychic blade.
That little jab straight to the Spiritomb and also Beau's leg was all he needed, his right hand flexing slightly around his lighter before shaking his body as best he could to discharge a cloud of Powder. "Why does everything want to make me hurt so I can win things? I just wanted to do something cool!" Beau shouted, sparking the lighter as he finished his little personal speech. And just like that, Beau was once again engulfed in a fiery explosion that would hopefully fling Griswold out of his possession. Either way, it was getting him the hell out of a bandagy grave.
