Akila got the oldest dry wine they had to offer and poured a goblet, which she set on his desk. "Best to start now."

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I'll stay with him." Aleera suddenly announced. "For awhile at least. That way, even if he sends you away, I can make sure his goblet is always full. I guess whichever one of us - or both - is here while he's eating just keeps filling it up."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Are you sure that's the....safest...thing to do?" Akila asked, fur bristling nervously.
Clorogne was packed up and headed towards the market.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged. "Someone needs to make sure his goblet stays full." She replied easily. "And I can take a beating much easier than you can. I'd rather not be the cause of more pain for you." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Don't treat me specially." Akila pouted, "I'm a member of the rebellion, same as the others...and that was before,,...now there's a cause to protect." She didn't like the suddenly being treated like a china doll. Yes, she was appreciative of it, but if it kept up she'd barely get to help at all.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera sighed. "I'm not treating you specially, believe it or not." She held Akila's gaze with her own green gaze as she spoke. "I treat everyone like this. Why do you think I'm the one who took the castle position? I don't like to let others be hurt if I can. I'd much rather it be me than other people." The tiger that should be....isn't....

I figured I should step up before some young hotblood decided he could handle it. I've a few more years under my belt than most people." She admitted with a laugh. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera simply laughed. "Don't worry. I got over that issue looong time ago. I'm roughly two hundred or so. I'm not sure exactly, as you tend to lose count after awhile. If I honestly tried, I could probably figure out an exact age but it's easier to just go with an estimate." She shrugged, not embarrassed about her age. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera smiled, shaking her head. "Why keep a sick or dying body? Except for the cases I told you about earlier, I'll pretty much decide my own time of dying." She said with a shrug. She glanced around the room, making sure it was ready for Clorogne. "We should get ready. He'll probably be back for supper soon." She said thoughtfully. It was getting kind of late. The tiger that should be....isn't....

As if on cue, Clorogne's heavy footsteps could be heard going down the hallway to his own room once more, "speak of the devil."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera stood up, brushing off her skirt. "Well, show time." She murmured softly to Akila. Stepping out of the room, she smiled brightly at Clorogne. "Welcome back Clorogne." She greeted him cheerfully, ignoring the fact that he'd killed her only mere hours before. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne smiledat the Seer, "Hello, my sweet." He sounded chipper, and his words were short. He easily slid a hand over her shoulder and around, "What have you been up to, in my absence?"
