Ariae still didn't reccognise this man as the one who helped shred her heart to pieces. If she did, she certainly wouldn't be offering him this sort of deal. Especially since she wouldn't ever want him to see all of the scars on her body - especially not the ones on her back where her wings used to be.

"Well, what if I made you a trade? I have plenty of other fine girls I suppose I could part with. And that would depend entirely on what your price is." Jaquel said, having seen so many females over the years and his brain scrambled so much, he certainly didn't recognize Ariae as his wingless ex-wife.

"My price varies, depending on how much time you want." Ariae said, before going on to address the issue with Milly. "I won't trade unless you can give me one that can take plenty of abuse, can do manual labour whenever I demand it, and if necessary - I could sell her off to some brothel if she bores me."

Jaquel's grin widened. Depending on her price, he was confident he could pay her and keep her around indefinately. "I'm sure I can find you someone to fit that description. You can take a look at my selection later."

"Very well. If you've already got a certain ammount of time in mind, do let me know. If not, come find me when you've decided." Ariae said, slowly pulling away a moment afterwards. Since their little fallout, Ariae had learned quite a few new "tricks" to add to the old ones she already knew - so she felt quite confident that he wouldn't be wanting his money back if they did complete their little "business deal".

"I'd like to at least clear up our little trade before you take my daughter home with you." Jaquel said, letting Ariae go, for now.

"Tell me what you'd like to clear up, then." Ariae said, placing her hands on her hips and waiting for Jaquel to say what he would. After business was done for the day, they'd head back to the ruins and Ariae would have Milly set up a bath for her.

Milly just sat there, sure that she was going to suffer for the rest of her life under the tyrranical hand of that silver-haired b***h. She looked up at her father with her big reddish-brown eyes, wondering why Jaquel was actually trying to help her instead of just leaving her to her fate. She didn't ask why, but it made her feel at least a little better.

((*snaps fingers* That's why he hasn't abandoned all care for Milly! he still has the fragmented memories of having a previous daughter! biggrin ))

"At least letting you pick out a replacement slave girl. I'm not letting you walk away with my daughter, much less with her on a leash." Jaquel said offering Ariae a hand to lead her back to his mansion.

Hesitantly, Ariae did accept his hand. However, she also kept her eyes on him - not trusting him to treat her gently and not try something anyway - despite the situation his daughter was in.

Jaquel quickly rounded up all of his tougher girls that would meet Ariae's demands. "Feel free to pick out any one you like."

Ariae looked about, eventually picking one at random. What she didn't mention was that even if she did trade the girls off, Milly would still have that mark of ownership on her. In a way, Ariae felt as if she were screwing Jaquel over without him realising it - which made her quite happy.

"Now that you have your replacement, you can let my daughter go." Jaquel said simply, his hands folded behind his back.

{If she heard you say that, it'd warm her heart to the core...for five secconds before she poisons your drink and tortures you as well for the rest of eternity. biggrin }

Ariae nodded, and motioned towards Jaquel while looking at Milly. "You may return to your father." In no way did she actually relinquish ownership of her, so at any moment, Ariae could take Milly back and have a new slave to do as she commanded. Looking back at Jaquel, Ariae asked, "So, is that it for today? Or no?"

"Well, there is the small matter of the pleasure that comes after business...." Jaquel said bringing a hand up to snap his fingers, a small ball of shadows appearing and dropping a rather large purse into his hand.

"I normally charge sixty gold per hour. So, depending on how much you are willing to spend, you can decide from there." Ariae said, knowing that her prices seemed quite expensive at first glance. After all, most "escorts" charged in silver, not in gold. However, other "escorts" didn't have half the experience Ariae had - nor did most know half of the tricks she did too. "It looks expensive, but once you've had me, you'll see that I'm being quite generous with this offer."
