...I actually met a real-life "Yandere", I was at a function with my cousin, while she was off dancing, I sat alone at a table near this other loner...

...everything seemed normal at first, you know just chit-chatting to pass the time.
Please note: I did not make a "Come-On" or anything like that...

I had no intention of asking her out, I'm kinda Shy...
We talked for a few hours, nothing of any note.
...but, some how amid the seemingly mundane discussion, I got this feeling...

...it wasn't a normal feeling, an Instinct telling me there's something quite "Off" about this girl...
As the conversation went on, I realized this person seemed a little "Obsessive".

When my Cousin came back to the Table, she had placed her arms around my neck, playfully saying "What are you up to...?" noticing us talking.
At that moment I didn't think much of it, but the reaction from the Lone-Girl was quite disturbing...

Almost as if holding in a scream, I noticed the slight twinge of Frown-Wrinkles on her forehead, I pretended not to notice...
Obvious to me, she put on a fake-smile, and introduced herself to my cousin...

After my cousin returned to the dance-floor...
The Lone-Girl kept prodding me for information..., she seemed to think there was something up between my cousin & I.
If I had to guess, it was my cousins playful-nature which nearly nudged her over the edge...

As the night went on, her questions became more invasive, her tone ever Harsher...
She seemed obsessed with this "Idea" she had created in her head...
Finally I got fed up with her behavior, and told her so... (Big-Mistake!!!)

I was completely honest, I mean, I wasn't dating her (no intention to), and yet she was acting as if she had met an old Girlfriend of mine, my Cousin!
In a very Possessive way she seemed to have marked Me as her territory!

I was Flustered, but remained Calm as I told this Girl I had just met, that she cannot treat people the way she had, to quote myself I said, "...You've shown the Ugly side of Yourself, to someone who doesn't even know you..." luckily she listened to my reasoning and promptly left...or so I thought...

After about 10-minutes my cousin returned carrying her shoes, a classic-signal of preparing to leave.
As we gathered our things, some of the Function's Staff made a slight commotion over something...

Turning down the corridor out of the Reception-Hall, the lobby was flickering with the lights of Police-Cars, as we neared the exit, we also saw an Ambulance...
Stepping outside near the side walk we noticed broken Beer-Bottles everywhere...

Side-stepping the large gathering of on-lookers.
Heading toward our car, we saw a man being attended to by Paramedics...
As we walked on we saw Police-Officers placing someone in back of a Squad-car...
