If you have to lie about yourself to fit into your group of friends, you have the wrong group of friends.

pnytenshi well, in Train man, the girl that he loved was lied to... the person that she loved dearly before him had cheated on her and she didn't really get over that until two years after. She was so heartbroken that she couldn't love anyone... In Japan, the otaku is looked down upon... so he's picked on by his family and everyone else in the world... and he was so happy that there was someone who cared about him... He then lied to her about the con and he told her that he was going to work. when she found out that she had been lied to, he tried to apologize but she dumped him before he could say that he liked her... He tried hard not to show his real self but his real self came out anyways... when he thought that he was going to lose her... Oh yeah, and as for that, it's a different context. Where I like this in Japan I would sure as hell hide it for the guy! I'd bring it up as my dirty little secret later, but it wouldn't be something I'm as open with as I am here.

Kusaragi... He does have a group of friends that are also otakus but if you really liked a person, and kinda lived in a different world than you, would you try to do everything in you power to impress them, being that they are the first person that is not a fictional character that you've cared about?? oh yeah... and lets imagine that you're a 23 year old otaku who looks very much like Steve Urkel in Family Matters... It says 2/6 but it's actually the first part... enjoy all who may watch...

I'm not the kind of person who would EVER lie about who she is... even if it is to impress someone I like
