Free Hugs is an amazing campagine.
I did this a couple of years ago with a few friends, and it was an awesome experience. We went down town, and we gave a TON of people hugs, and it just felt great.
Old people, young people, homeless people, just anyone on the streets that was willing.
A lot of people thought it was cool that we were doing this, we got honks from a bunch of cars, and it made people happy.
But the one moment that was the absolute BEST was:
- When we were down town on spring garden road, and old woman came up to me and said "do old woman count too", I laughed and said of course everyone counts", I then gave her a hug. Then we came upon another younger woman at the bus stop who wanted a hug, and we gave her one too. The older woman ended up waiting at the same bus stop and they ended up chatting. As we looked back they were both hugging eachother and were smiling.
IT WAS AMAZING! And we all felt great.

 Lol, I'm not much of a hugging person, but it really does feel good when you get hugged or give a hug ^__^
