He says you just need to practice a bit. Like how whenever he was home he used to practice sword fighting with you. whee

I think you two used wooden swords when you were really young, and dull ones as you got older.

I remember doing laundry and such as you guys practiced, and watching you practice. whee

I don't remember that. Really just that we practiced while he was home.

He had patrol duty a lot. So every couple weeks he'd leave for a week or so.

I remember begging him not to go on the night he died.

A bunch of bandits ganged up on him when he was on patrol one night. They outnumbered him, and he didn't notice them until they were pretty much ontop of him.

He's still not happy about it. It pisses him off every time he thinks about it.
