Something that's like a mystery (Malice x iiGypsy) (open)

Fang shrugged, "If I wasn't with Tori...I don't know...Maybe?... I was never a hopeless romantic (good song by the bouncing souls XD) I'm not very good at all that touchy feely deep stuff." Well, she was when she was with Tori...but only then, it was something he brought out in her.

Meiyu smiled grandly, "Oh, that would be wonderful." He looked to his closest friend, "and very convenient." He looked over and patted Torisen's back reassuringly.

Sandra saw that Tori was sad. In fact, he looked very sad. So, to get that look off of his face, she kicked at him from under the table.

Not expecting it in the least, Kujaku jumped and yelped when he received a kick to the shin.
"What was that for you little cretin!? If you weren't my cousin I would have..." he decided to trail off there. He didn't want to anger his aunt.

Tori saw Kujaku yelp and curse and chuckled a bit, looking over at Meiyu and smiling weakly. He knew he was a coward and insecure and things. He would need to try to fix that. For now though, he would just trust Fang.

Sebastion smiled, looking away. He had planned this from the beginning, but hadn't wanted Meiyu to know. He wanted to surprise him.
"How do you think I knew about the claw?" he asked with a smile.

Dentar's face lit up and he nodded, walking back into the dining hall. That was it, huh? Just split them up? How would he do that?
Sitting, he saw Tori and smiled. He still loved his cousin, even if they were love rivals now.

Fang grinned when Dentar did, "Cool, so we're good." She went in, and stood behind Kujaku, "Um...you're in my seat." She blinked. She wanted to sit next to Tori, and wasn't very willing to give up her spot.

Meiyu shrugged, "I just supposed it was coincident."

Leaping from the seat, he held it out for her, sitting down when she did.
"You deal with the shin kicker," he grumbled, smiling as dinner arrived. Why there were no appetizers he didn't know, but dinner looked amazing.

Smiling brightly as Fang sat down next to him, he lightly grabbed her hand under the table and swung it. He had a bashful look on his face.
"So how'd it go?" he asked her in a whisper.

Sebastion smiled, shrugging and picking up his fork and knife.
"I suppose it was," he said, cutting off a piece of Chicken-fried steak.

"Thanks, Kujaku." Fang grinned and squeezed Tori's hand, "It went well. Everything is good, again." She smiled, looking over to him. Before looking down, "Oh, yum, food!" She picked up her fork with her other hand, keeping Tori's hand in her other.

Meiyu answered, "Isn't everything?" He cut his chicken-steak into pieces, before picking at it with his fork.

Sebastion laughed, covering his mough and watching his children go from bouncing in their chairs to mild-mannered.
"Always," he said, sipping his wine and smiling lightly at his wife.

Rose smile back, lightly scooping up some peas from her plate.
"So what do you do for a living Angel? Meiyu?" she asked, trying to make conversation.

Tori smile back at her, cutting his steak with his fork and chewing before he said, "Meiyu is my healer and Angel is my bodyguard."

Katrina looked at Tori, eyebrow raised.
"Why do you need a bodyguard? You're already a wonderful fighter."

Fang thought about it. Tori had survived without her with a long time...and she hadn't NEEDED the money....in fact, if she thought about it....it was more of a pity thing. She hated pity....but she liked being with Tori....she wasn't sure what to say to that, so she put some chicken in her mouth and took her time chewing, waiting for his answer.

Meiyu nodded, in agreement, "Yes, that we are." He grinned. It seemed the old man was always smiling. He was indeed an odd ball.

Tori beamed, looking over at Fang and back at his cousin. Fang was with him because she liked to be! Aside from that, he paid her because he froze up a lot and she was good to have around. Most of all though...?
"Because I love her, that's why!" he said with a brightness, not realizing that answer might be a bit...embarrassing.

Sebastion laughed heartily, nodding to himself. Yes, that would make sense. He had the feeling those two were falling for eachother.
"Cheers to love in general," he said, raising his glass. Looking over at Kujaku and Dentar, he added, "May it be returned love or unrequited."

Nodding, Kujaku raised his glass. He could toast to that.

Fang was so happy she nearly forgot to breath. He'd said it so freely, she couldn't help but smile widely, after swallowing her food. "I'll toast to that!" She giggled a little and lifted her glass.

"To Love." Meiyu spoke sweetly, seemingly in thought. Where that Crazy man's thoughts were, was uncertain.

Tori raised his glass and smiled, looking over at Fang. Well, she wasn't crying, so that was a good sign. Raising his glass of wine he squeezed her hand lightly, not paying any mind to Uncle and how he was smiling brightly at the two lovebirds.
"To love," he said lightly, lowering his glass and taking a drink.

Dentar, being under the drinking age of 17, had grape juice in his cup as he raised it. To love indeed. If they loved each other so much, then it would be harder to rip them apart.
Looking over at his cousin Kujaku, he smiled. Maybe he would help.

Sandra giggled at Tori and raised her glass, repeating her father.

Rose raised her glass and nodded, seeing where her husband was going with this. Well, all power to him. They were a good match.

Fang smiled, more sweetly this time, "Exactly." She lowered the drink to her lips and sipped, before putting it back down, and ate some chicken, as to avoid an overly sweet scene in front of Kujaku and Dentar. No need to make things worse for them.

Meiyu drank a gulp of his wine, before eating some chicken. After a longer moment, his eyes seemed to un-fade, though his smile grew, watching everyone else watch the young couple.

Finishing his meal and standing, Sebastion bowed to everyone.
"Pardon me, but I have some business before tomorrow's adventure. Please enjoy the rest of the meal, my friends," he said, hiding a smile as he walked out into the hall to his quarters. Lucian might have a few things to say to what he was going to tell him.

Tori ate slowly, feeling sleepier with every bite. What was it about him and big meals that made him sleepy? Well, it didn't matter right now.
He finished his food and waited for Fang and one of his cousins to as well. He would want to go straight to bed after this. Besides, after the toast and the glass of wine, he was feeling a buzz he wanted to sleep off.

Sandra finished her meal and saw that Tori, too, was finished.
"Want me to show you to your room?" she asked happily, looking over at the normal sulky Dentar.

"Pardon, and good night, Sebastian." Meiyu replied, happily working on his dinner, until finished.

Fang finished quickly. She, however, was NOT feeling tired. Actaully, she was slightly more aware. She felt like she could do anything at the moment...maybe even finish sparring with Dentar, but then she thought of what Tori had mentioned in the carriage invaded her mind, and filled her with a slight buzz. She looked up, watching Sandra and Tori carefully, giving not hint to her thoughts.

With his slight buzz, Tori's mind was flitting through all sorts of things.
"Sure, lets go. You wanna go Fang?" he asked her nicely, smiling at her innocently.

Dentar finished his food and walked over to his mother, kissing her hand.
"I am going to escort Meiyu to his room if he so wishes," he said with a light smile, looking over at Meiyu in askance.

Making sure to measure her words, Fang hesitated only a small second before nodding, "Yes. " she cleared her throat, "It is my job after all." She stood, curtseying for her new found 'aunt' an action clearly no one had ever seen her preform. "I'm sure you must be truly fatigued." She smiled sweetly.

"Why yes, young Dentar, how kind of you." Meiyu grinned, standing also, and kissed Rose's hand, before untucking the napkin from his shirt and laying it on the table. "Good night, my friends." He looked around, and added, "...and my family." He was such a sap.
