"Psh, you don't know me." She teased, looking back up at him with a smile. "Mmm...this has been the best Christmas." Amaya said as she stretched out and then cuddled into him again.

"Definitely. I don't think we're ever going to have a better Christmas. Our expectations are now way to high, and each year from now we're going to be saying how it's not as good as when I came back." Adrian said with a smile as he gave her a kiss on the head.

"Darn right I am." Amaya laughed, kissing his nose lightly. "Well she's napping, and I don't have to start dinner for a few more hours. Life is good." Amaya muttered, looking over to Calista as she smiled.

"Should we at least put her in bed? She doesn't look the most comfortable down there." Adrian said with a small chuckle as he looked over at Calista conked out in front of the tv.

"I guess we could." She replied with a grin, getting up and gathering the small girl in her arms. Calista stayed asleep as Amaya carried her to her room and put her in bed. Once she was out of Calista's room, Amaya left and shut the door behind her quietly. Returning to the couch, Amaya took her seat and laid her head on Adrian's shoulder once more. "Ugh, I'm tired." She muttered.

"Well so long as she's asleep and doesn't need any attention for a while, you can rest for as long as you want." Adrian said with a smile. "Should I carry you to bed too so you can take a nap?"
