Zub zub!  Where we make camp, Warchief? Puny hu-mans make camp to the south! dramallama Well, for a start, can I get something sucinct in terms of story? And, has anyone thought of keeping a running storiline somewhere? I mean, a text file is all well and good, but unless we have a place for everyone to see it, and only the select few to edit it... sweatdrop Is there anything in place what we can make good? Forgive my poor English right now. I blame the lolling internets. emo

I'd like to make a site layout involving some kind of nicely colored image from the story...unless there's another layout idea someone's got in mind that they would like to share? Otherwise the site will be image-less.
Also...what content are we thinking is going on the site?

Wa-ku-sei! Wa-ku-sei! Lol the internets! LOL IT TO 4CHAN!  Well, being a fond advocate of webcomics, I would suggest a look around Keenspot.com, or perhaps Sluggy Freelance. Something with the comic at the top, navigation buttons below, and a blogbox for all our craziesness below that. Um, I'd be willing to make the banner, with everyone's input. sweatdrop

Yes, a web-manga. Has it been done before? I don't know.
Other sections could be made in which you could browse various other arts, maybe one where we post excuses as to why we haven't updated, we could have a shameless ATG self-promotion page, and a place for crew-acess only to post the plot ideas that we don't want readers to know yet.... ninja
I could probably get a picture of Muffin colored. We could also use variuos little doodles to decorate the site. 3nodding Little squid doodles.
I'll probably have more arts later, too.

K0m0d0 Well, there should be a section in which pages will be hosted like comics in a web-comic- but you see, this is a web-manga, so we'll call them pages instead because we're cool like that.

I can make a webpage in Photoshop... graphics intensive, but if you have a good grasp of HTML, it could probably be reduced to something easier to load.
I dunno if that will help or not, but I thought I'd put it out there. sweatdrop
EDIT: I can't do anything like a crew section either... although I know I knew some people in High School that could without breathing extra air. gonk

I thought Eien's idea for the lay-out was great, and wakusei's suggestion for the squid being a button inspired me to make a crappy little lay-out design doodle to give us a vauge idea as to what we're doing.
Once tinypic decides to stop being a jerk I'll post it here.

Well, here it is, my basic not-very-well drawn idea of what people would see when they came to the homepage of the site.
Those scribbly things next to the buttons? Those are going to be the places for funny little icons to go.
The grey line labled 'buttons' should have a small 'first page' button, 'previous page' button, 'next page' button and 'most recent update' button. They can just be geometric shapes with links next to them, really.
The scrolly-down thing is optional, but we shoud have some way for people to navigate to a specific page easily.
I don't know what the background would look like, what color scheme or font we're going with, and what all the bannars and bubbles for the comics and rants would look like, but here's the bare basics of an idea for what-goes-where.
So, what are the details you people are thinking of? I mean, as to all the fancy colors and pictures we're going to stick onto this, or if this isn't acceptable and needs to be edited.

Or mabye... the comic navigation buttons should have a little flare. Usually there are four "First" "Back" "Forword" and "Last"
We could mabye have the end buttons be tentacles and the middle buttons be fox tails. We could have them point in the approprite directions too.
