((I was thinking of some of those as well, but thought they might be a little too much. But if you're game then so am I. >XD ))

"Better yet, we should set up an island getaway here. Or perhaps 'hideout' would be the more proper term..." Daemon said as he plucked a flower as they passed by and tucked it nicely behind Larai's ear with a smile. "Assuming there aren't any island natives that would protest such a timeshare."

{Well, we can pick and choose which would be best and which would best be avoided.}

"I'd like that. Then we could just return here, relax, and hide from the world whenever we please." Larai purred softly, her grin brightening a little more as Daemon gave her a new, pretty flower to wear in her hair for a little while. "If they complain that much we can just bribe them with money or something."

"Or other 'new and mysterious' items from the mainland, along with the occasional offering of animal flesh or something." Daemon joked.

((DA and Photobucket have failed me for supplying me with only one halfway decent pic of a guy with snake scales and no tail from the waist down. Everything else was either naga, guy with snake, guy with snake tattoo, or a goddamn Naruto char.))
((As for the list, I think I like everything we just came up with, with a maybe on the pissed off hissing. XD ))

{Photobucket's been a b***h at times when I look for anything decent and fitting that isn't a supermodel or an anime girl from some obscure porn game. (Literally; at least half of the pics used are either from Tales of Vesperia, Naruto, or some anime Porn Game. The other half is anime sluts with poor anatomy and over-usage of photo-shop ripped off of DeviantArt.}

"Who knows? We could probably make a profit selling old no-longer needed junk and calling it 'new and mysterious' artifacts of the gods or something." Larai replied with a playful smirk.

"Considering who your father is, we could probably go through the attic and find plenty of old junk that really was used by the gods. Or one of them at least." Daemon pointed out with a grin.

"I wouldn't doubt it~" Larai chuckled. "Still, let's hope for the best. That there's no sentient natives, and that we can do whatever the hell we wish.

((I'm suddenly picturing some surreal, tribal version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Except instead of a little girl barging into the house of a family of bears, eating their porridge, and breaking/complaining about their furniture before the family returns, it would be Daemon and Larai stumbling across a tribal village and screwing around while picking through things like a couple of tourists before the angry natives show up. XD ))

"And if there are, hopefully they're friendly. Or wind up worshipping us as gods due to some cultural misunderstanding." Daemon added with a smile.

"I just hope that they don't eat the embodiment of their gods." Larai replied, remembering how that stupid tribal cliche` went.

"That's always confused me, really. Your god has chosen to appear before you, so you roast him on a spit? I'd think that wouldn't be the smartest choice if you still wanted blessings." Daemon mused. "But then lord only knows how those nutty cliche natives think."

"Maybe it's some creepy stalker theory that states they become one with you or something if you eat their flesh. Of course, those people are usually the ones that fail to realize that what goes in must come out." Larai replied in a joking manner.

((You cannot comprehend my reaction and facial expression when I clicked to page 512 from the forums, quickly scrolled all the way down, and was greeted with "POOP JOKE AHOY" as the first thing to catch my eye. XD ))

"True. I never really thought about the similarities between wild natives and psychopaths before." Daemon noted as the sound of rushing water grew near.

"Until now, I really haven't either. Well, not unless I was watching the movies they appeared in." Larai didn't yet speak it out loud, but she wondered what the water would feel like. Also, if it would be safe to skinny dip in.

As they emerged from the brush, they appeared by the waterfall on a low cliff, the rocks gradually stretching out and around the crystal pool below with a short and easy hike down to the water's edge. The whole thing almost resembled the sort of fountains one might keep in their home as decoration.

As they arrived, Larai looked about, her eyes sparkeling in wonder as she admired the beauty of the scenery. "This place is gorgeous~" she said in a sing-song sort of voice, clearly in awe at the sights.

"We definitely picked the right island to honeymoon on. I've never seen water this clear before." Daemon smiled as he crouched beside the water as it ran over the cliff's edge, dipping his hands in the water and scooping it up as he let it trickle back down.
